Prologue

"Where am I? Why is this place so dark."

A man covered by his dark red hair all over, with red eyes that seemed to be full of fire. He found himself tied by a huge chain all over his hands and legs.

"Oh right, I was betrayed, betrayed by my own people."

Coughs blood.

"I who once ruled an entire continent, feared by nations, I the great Demon Lord. For centuries I ruled, just to be defeated by some mere mortal heroes."

5,000 years ago, the Demon Lord Aragon was expanding its borders to new heights, until suddenly 5 heroes appeared out of nowhere.

For ten years, the heroes pushed the Demon Lord to the corner. And just like that the Demon Lord was slayed, it was not an easy feat though, three of the heroes had died during the battle.

Before his death, Argon found out that two of his important disciples betrayed him.

5,000 years later :

"It's so dark here, where am I?"

Aragon was now a wandering spirit floating around in the air. He found himself in a jungle full of beautiful flowers, birds, trees and dangerous looking monsters.

Aragon felt very calm and peaceful as he wandered around the forest.

" Am I in afterlife? Even after all the bad things I've done do I deserve this?"

As he was talking, he found a little child near a small river plucking some flowers. Aragon stopped by behind a tree and observed.

"It's a human? so I'm still not completely gone?"

His soul started changing colours from the shining blue colour to red flame. "We'll know once I can devour the child's soul."

He charges at the kid in full speed, and as his wandering soul collide with the child's, and bright light shone all over the kid's body.

[Congratulations you have become one with the Demon Lord!]

"huh" the child looked shock

'Become one with the Demon Lord? What the heck?' the child thought in his mind.

[Due to your weak body, only 0.1% Demon Lord's abilities have been absorbed]

'It was that easy? Ever since I was reincarnated I was stuck in level 1, but just suddenly due to the quest I easily leveled up?'

Leo was born into a noble family, as the second child of the family. However he was weak and had very less mana in his body. His parents were very strict with him and always made him practice magic and sword fighting.

Leo was exceptionally smart but since he was weak in both magic and swords he was home schooled. His parents feared of their son being bullied, however for Leo it was different. He felt extremely lonely.

"I get it, studying about magic or practicing swords is totally pointless if I don't even know why I'm studying it. I hate this life why does it always have to be me, a boy with weak body and low mana. I wish I never existed."

Suddenly he saw a mouse passing by his legs towards the book shelf, Leo just stood at it for a while. But after seeing the mouse trying to chew a book in the book shelf, he immediately went to catch the mouse. However what he stumbled upon was a black book called "Way of the King"

He gulped in as he saw the book.

As he scrolled towards the first page there was something written in huge letters.

Reborn Again. It was only that word and everything else was blank.

"Reborn Again? what does that mean."
