The boar king subjugation squad

Fang Yuan is now stuck with a pure 44% talent and no help from any Gu. In the meantime, I had the talent level of 70% and was boosted by a Liquor Worm. I also found a very interesting Gu on the Gu thrift shop.

It is called Second Aperture Gu and oh boy is it expensive! It costs 50 motherfucking thousand Gu points! And is rank 5! But here is the catch. There are 6 versions of it. Rank 1 through 6. The first 5 are basically rank X Aperture Gus' and the rank 6 one is called immortal second aperture Gu.

The first rank one costs 50 points, The second rank one goes for 100 points, the rank third one is 500 points, rank 4 is 5K Gu points, rank 5 is 50k points and rank 6 is motherfucking 500K Gu points! Sheesh! Another thing I need to buy for my self and it will cost me 250K moonlight Gu worms in order to get it!

I also need to buy Chun Jack a muscle refining Gu, or his fleshy muscles won't be able to withstand the pressure from strength enhancing Gus'.

Short version, I need more Gu points! Everything that is good is extremely expensive and I am still only rank 1. It is time to fix that fact!

Three weeks or so have passed and I gotta say my brother has gotten a lot better at wielding the Guts sword. He can swing it as if it is a norm- scratch that, he is using it like Guts from berserk does. I have also noticed he doesn't let go of it for a single second!

He sleeps with it in his right hand, he bathes with it, eats with it hooked onto his back and does a minimum of 1000 swings a day. The guy has turned into a sword maniac! I don't know if there is sword intent or something like that in this world, but if someone is going to awaken it, it is Chun Jack.

My cultivation has also not stagnated. I have advanced to upper stage of rank 1. Now I have 55% Black Green copper primeval essence. I seriously can't believe how much easier it is to cultivate with a Liquor Worm. My efficiency has gone up by almost 2 times! And that is saying something, seeing as it was already at 70% talent level of efficiency.

This is basically as strong as I will be for at least 2 months, so we are going motherfucking boar King hunting! And not just any boar King! A thousand boar king! I got the little light Gu as my reward like Fang Yuan did, so my moonlight Gu is at 200% power and some dumbass, who was too poor to pay his rent and feed his Gu sold me his bronze skin Gu.

They are all rank 1 Gus', but I have defense, damage and speed covered now! Damage won't be that useful if everything goes according to my plan. That combined with my physical strength should be enough for me to fight a rank 2 Gu Master.

Wang Er has stocked up on a lot of metal tipped arrows, per my request. Metal tipped arrows are special arrows our friendly neighborhood blacksmith Gu Yue Gon Tu made for this occasion. He was the guy who forged Guts for my brother. He might be extra expensive to hire, but he is a good friend and his skills are worth the primeval stones we pay him.

They are a lot more powerful than normal metal arrows. These ones can penetrate the Boar king's hide. Well, they haven't been tested, but they should be. Those arrows are in case of scenario Chaos B. You think I only made 1 plan? There is plan A, plan B, plan C, Chaos A, Chaos B and scenario F. We are mostly ready to get going, so it is time the gang gets together!

I left my room and jumped down to the ground from my porch. I just now broke through to upper stage and need to recover the primeval essence I used, but I can do that along the way. My brother was there swinging his sword. "Yo, brother Jack, let's go! It is time to hunt a thousand beast King! We are killing the rabid brown boar king, so let's pick up Wang Er along the way and start the hunt!"

My brother drew a smile and said "Finally! I thought this day would never come! Time to show those stuck up Gu masters what mortals can do! I have been waiting for this moment for weeks!"

I laughed at his enthusiasm and said "Well, today we will finally taste the fruits of our labor! I can shoot almost 45 Moonblades without exhausting my primeval essence, so I will have to focus more on making sure the baby boars don't get in the way and the damn Boar King doesn't charge you down. I'll explain the plan in greater detail when we find Wang Er."

He nodded at me and holstered his Guts sword and we began running towards Wang Er's house. Around 10 minutes into our journey, we heard a familiar voice saying "Hmm? Which village are you from, kid? How dare you try to take advantage of me, Wang Er! Quickly get lost!"

I instantly realized what was going on and ran towards the voice, even using my Spring Weed Gu. My brother quickly followed after me, but he can barely run as fast as me normally, much less when he has a quarter ton sword strapped to his back and I am using movement Gu.

I got there extremely fast and saw Fang Yuan about to cut Wang Er's head off with a moon blade. I can easily endure a moon blade with my bare skin, but I can't take a boosted moon blade right now. That injury might ruin my entire plan!

Without wasting a moment, I activated the bronze skin Gu and jumped in front of the moonblade. Fang Yuan showed surprise at both me suddenly appearing and me having a bronze skin Gu. "Fang Yuan! You dare try to kill one of my people!"

I could see a small sweat droplet on Fang Yuan's forehead when he saw me getting angry. I lost like 4% primeval essence total from his attack and it didn't even leave a flesh wound, so it is understandable why Fang Yuan is worried. If we fight to the death, he will not survive and no one will care about him. Actually, can't I take him out now? I can kill him this very instance and no one will know. No one will punish me. Who would even care enough about him to punish me? And he knows that!

His thinking speed is truly admirable, but why is he out here? Oh right, white boar Gu. It needs food. Guess I can give him a small fright and make him screw off "Fang Yuan, explain what you are doing here! I didn't have a defensive q Gu before, so I couldn't guarantee my life, but time is different now! I can protect myself better than most rank 2 Gu masters, so I am not afraid of facing you!"

Fang Yuan snorted and said "I need some spirit stones and decided to take up your trade, hunting boars and selling them for profit." I laughed at his claim and said "Fang Yuan, I hunt boars using my physical strength and my slave's help. I have dropped my dumb brute act long ago and we both know I can compete with you in terms of slyness. But you can't compete with me in terms of strength! Your only hope in hunting down boars are hunting them 1 at a time or stealing a hunter's bounty, but that is too inefficient for someone of your standards and you are not dumb enough to think I hunt using Gu worms and cover it up with fake strength.

The only other possibility is you need the boar's corpse for something, but you can't buy it publicly in fear of attracting suspicion. You are most likely hiding a Gu you shouldn't logically possess and the only Gu I can think of, that requires a boar's corpse as food, is a Boar Strength Gu."

I looked into his abyssal eyes, not even a trace of panic or fear in them. I smirked with a serious expression and said "Now, where did someone like you get a boar strength Gu?"

"This brat is dangerous! Is he a reincarnated person like me? Did he come here from earth or from the future as well? How can he see right through me? I need to eliminate him as quickly as possible or my plans will fall apart." Fang Yuan was in full hostility and scheming mode! I could see right through him and even read his thoughts!

The panic didn't last long as he said "I do not posses a boar strength Gu. Like I said, I am only here to make a little extra money to help with my cultivation." I nodded my head and said "Right. I have business with Wang Er and we won't be hunting boars today, so you can take over our job as the hunting force of the northwestern border."

Fang Yuan slowly nodded as I left him and took Wang Er towards the location of my brother. If I kill him now there is a high chance Tie Ruo Nan will hunt me down! Divine investigator will be called and the two will think I framed Fang Yuan and killed him off to cut down any pursuit. If her daddy pitches in, the possibility of my actions and sudden rise in talent being connected with the blood sea ancestor by them would skyrocket and I would be in deep fucking shit!

Fuck! I didn't think this through when I gave him the white boar strength Gu! God damn it! I endangered myself for a small bit of self-satisfaction gained from helping my favourite main character! At least Fang Yuan hasn't realized he can directly threaten me with his life and can't take advantage of me.

I'll have to rework my plans after this hunt. Let's forget about my fuckup and focus on the main task at hand.

I refocused myself and we reunited with my brother. Wang Er's two dumbass lackeys know their place and didn't dare follow us. Fang Yuan probably looked into his aperture with discomfort. He was forced to detonate the white boar strength Gu, because of the threat is supposed.

He is quite careful. Even if it was part of the Flower Wine Monk's inheritance, he detonated it and parted ways with it as soon as it became a threat to him. He is probably thinking something along the lines of "How did he figure me out" or "Did he give up so easily because he figured out I destroyed it".

I will never know if I am right, but my ability to read Fang Yuan has certainly improved a lot since I began my battle with him. His ability to read me has basically gone to shit, or he is reading me so hard I am already on the palm of his hand. Can't really know for sure with this 500-year-old bastard!

Stop! I don't need a headache right now. Focus on the objective. He is irrelevant now.

"We are going to hunt down the thousands beast King rabid brown boar?!" Wang Er stared at me in horror and said "Did you already reach rank 2?!" I looked at him, with a little but of confusion in my eyes "What do you know about Gu masters to be surprised about my cultivation speed? I am only rank 1 upper stage, but I have the Liquor Worm, so I am as strong as I will ever be, for the next two months at least! Might as well hunt the damn thing down now!"

Wang Er showed a difficult expression and I said "Brother Wang, is someone from your family a demonic Gu master?" Cold sweat dripped from his forehead as I hit the nail on the head. Even if I didn't know this part, I could easily guess with his extremely readable reactions. "You don't have to worry. I am not going to sell out your friend. We three are comrades and can trust each other! If you really know a demonic Gu master, call him over and have him help us fight the thousand beast King! We have like a 20-30% chance of beating it, but a strong, high rank Gu master can really help us out!"

A gentle expression creeped up Wang Er's face as he looked at us, the mortal and Gu master brothers, who live and die together. "Alright, I'll be honest with you guys. My brother didn't actually die. He managed to find a rank 2 talent Gu worm and accidentally used it. His aperture's capacity increased all the way to 50% from it and he became a demonic Gu master."

Me and my brother looked at him with surprise in our eyes "You're telling me Wang Da and his wife aren't dead?" Wang Er showed a distressed expression and said "I wish that were true. My brother loved his wife with all of his heart, but only he is alive and well. His wife was killrd by him. He couldn't let her live, or else she would have exposed him to the clan elders and his enemies would use her against him!"

I have known Wang Er for years, but this was the first time I have ever seen tears anywhere near his eyes! He fell on his knees and punched the ground with tears streaming down his face. "He loved her so much and he was forced by this cruel world to kill her with his own hands!"

That was... Quite a bit more tragic than I expected. The novel just briefly went over it and I kinda didn't care originally and just wanted to use Wang Da, but hearing the true story directly from a victim, it felt more real and painful.

No matter how smart and evil I act, I am no Fang Yuan. I can't look at this man's pain and think of benefits or anything other than compassion. I extended my hand and lifted him up into s hug. "Don't worry, brother Er, we won't tell anyone on brother Da's situation! If he needs our help or a place to stsy, our house will forever be open to him. Can you take us to him? I would like to meet him in person and inspect his Gu worms, to see if there are any that can help us."

Wang Er and my brother wiped away the tears in their eyes and we continued walking. Man, onion Gu season already?!

Apparently the guy is currently living in a treehouse south of the clan town, so lucky us! We can pick him up on the way to the rabid brown boar King.
