I was at home in the afternoon

I took some sprinkles, added them to the pancakes, and put the cream from the spray bottle. I sat opposite my mother, eating pancakes and opening cane of cola.

"School isn't cool enough?"

"Not today. I think they forgot to give us assignments."

My mother sat at the window after watering the flowers

"Don't you think Sally, the girl next door, is watching you?" she smiled jokingly

"I don't stand naked in front of her, mom. I make sure to close the window after showering." My mother sat on the chair and took one of the sewing magazines.

I went upstairs to my room.
