Chapter 4 Part 4

Lux somehow lessened the impact for the surrounding, which made the destruction severely less. That one attack however, wounded Lux, and wore him completely out. Rick then hopped off, and they saw that he was already carrying the demi-human in his arms. Lux saw that Rick had untied the "Demon" and saw the remaining guards. Codarius didn't know what to do, as there wasn't much he was able to do. But then Lux yelled, "Behind you!"

Those words pierced Codarius' ears, and as Codarius turnt back, a guard had attacked Codarius from behind, and stabbed him right in the side of his stomach. Codarius fell down, holding the side of his stomach, which had been fatally cut open, revealing some of his organs, and an immense amount of blood. Lux yelled out Codarius' name, and immediately sliced the guard, who had cut Codarius, right in the neck.

But then the other remaining guards began to charge towards Codarius. Lux got ready to stop all of them, but then the mage rose from his seat, and then walked towards Lux. But in his first step, he instantly appeared next to Lux. Lux felt him appear, and instantly casted his spell, "Lift." Upon casting, Lux's body glowed, and then Hristov kicked Lux right in the side of the head. Lux got shot 3 buildings away, breaking open holes in the buildings.

The shockwave rolled Codarius away, as the guards all jumped onto Codarius. Codarius then got stabbed again, this time in his chest, leg, arms, and his head. One of the guards laughed as he stabbed Codarius, "This is what doing treason gets you!" Codarius felt the sharp feeling of getting stabbed all over his body, with his vision completely red on his left eye, and his right losing all vision from getting stabbed. 'How am I even conscious right now?' Codarius wondered. Then, the pain began going away somehow, but he began feeling distant from his body.

Codarius was pretty much used to this odd sensation as of now, as he had experienced so many things similar, or far worse. All of that thought happened the moment he got stabbed in the heart, in which he heard his heartbeat stop instantly. Everything went black. The moment Codarius felt like he disconnected from his body, the world seemed to have paused. No, it was that, the world seemed as if it was a mere glimpse of a vision that he saw until now.

He woke up, laying in a familiar place. A place of nothingness other than unseeable small pieces of light and bubbles that you can zoom in on. Yes, of course it was familiar, as it was no where other then Exoharmony. He had returned here somehow? He then heard a familiar voice of a female that called out for him. He looked in the direction, and saw Abstrelia. Abstrelia smiled, and greeted him, "Well well, it looks like you're very lost aren't you?"
