Rain crossed the snow-covered area for days, tirelessly searching, yet each passing moment deepened his sense of futility. Despite his best efforts, he found no trace of the individuals he sought. A gnawing realization began to seep in—perhaps the ice dragon he had seen earlier passed through that region on a whim, merely crossing the area out of boredom or aimlessness.
The vast landscape seemed to mock Rain's quest, leaving him with a profound feeling of frustration and waste of time. The fruitless search stirred feelings of helplessness within him, amplifying the weight of uncertainty regarding the whereabouts of everyone.
In any case, Rain only used half of the mana that he could recover over time, even while his rings were equipped since he wanted to keep his mana full at most of times, but even so, it didn't take long for Rain to make the path reach level five and as he had expected, he didn't get any new skill.
