After Rain's quick victory over Dravik, a heavy silence hung in the arena. It was as though the crowd was trying to process what had just occurred. However, as the moments passed, a wave of discontent started to spread among the onlookers. Whispers and mutterings began to fill the air, and soon, scattered boos and jeers emerged from various corners of the arena.
The crowd's reactions were mixed. Some believed Rain had cheated, while others were simply unwilling to accept the outcome. The idea that a human could best one of their own in combat seemed unfathomable to many, especially considering the wagers involved. Rain stood tall in the center of the arena, unfazed by the jeers and whispers, understanding that winning had come at a price beyond the amulets wagered.
"Are you not entertained?" Rain asked. "I guess they wouldn't be when their fighter loses so fast. Maybe I should try a bit harder to make things more interesting…"
