Half a month after Asmodeus's defeat by Damon's hands.
In the Immortal Horses main HQ base. On the very top floor, in a dark black room in the far back of the working offices.
A man in all white entered.
Flick.
He turned on the lights to reveal shelves and shelves of canisters filled with gree goo and brain cells.
"It's time to bring you back Eiko."
He walked up to one of the canisters and opened up its lid.
Splash!
He poured the liquid and brain matter all across the floor and within seconds the brain started to grow bone, and skin, and muscle, and mass, and fat. It started to morph and shape into a human. A woman. Her nipples, her breasts, her arms, her neck, her fingers, her legs, her eyes, her feet, her mouth, her toes, her red hair, her eyebrows, her nose, her life.
Miss Eiko looked at the man in white, his face plain and forceful like he had no interest in reviving her.
"How long have I been out Oskar?" she asked.
Oskar turned away pissed off, "I took you off the line for about a month and a half."
"Huh? So you really had to risk it?! You just haaaadddd to put all your marbles on the line." She slowly increased her sarcasm, "and let me guess, you went up and ruled the organization while I was out? Made a few changes here and there?"
"Yes... I made a few changes, but the core policy is still the same. I just had to take the opportunity. You understand. You know how long I have been waiting for your spot. Being stuck as second in command... It starts to drive you insane. But I still like you Eiko... I still do..."
"Uhhhgggg... Just go home to your boyfriend already."
"He's not my boyfriend anymore, we're engaged."
"Oh so while I was out you also got engaged. Wowwwww. Congrats..."
She walked past Oskar and out of the dark green-lit room.
"But that is not all Eiko. If I truly wanted your spot I would have killed you, I would have wiped your brain matter from all the databases across the world. But I needed you... Something happened..."
She turned around, her naked body plain as day in the middle of the bustling hallway.
"What happened? Does it have to do with Aria, her Gift powers?"
"Gift? No-no, it has to do with the Witch Hunters... After you died we got a message back from Jango. It was short but it seems like it was recorded undercover." Oskar looked around the hallway then back to Eiko, "let's talk somewhere more privately."
---
They traveled down five floors to Oskar's office.
The office was covered head to toe in books and shelves. Small flags from hundreds of countries on each shelf, each row containing different books of different languages. Each one containing different legends, tales, stories, myths. He reached behind a book called...
[Demons and Angels]
He pulled out a flash drive and plugged it into his laptop on his desk.
Miss Eiko sat down on an old leathered chair.
Oskar pressed play.
In the scratchy recording voice, Jango said, "That sword... It has the power to use the Perfect Ice. And those flames... This man may be strong enough to take out Miss Eiko. He may be strong enough to take out all of the Immortal Horses..."
"Eiko... Did you hear that? This Damon, he's a threat. A huge threat."
"Well, did you get physical evidence? Words don't count as proof, even if they are coming from Jango."
Oskar turned his laptop around to Miss Eiko. He showed a picture of a splotch of black blood.
"What is that?" she asked.
"Twenty-five days after your death, we sent out a search party for Jango. We eventually landed in the south pole of Antarctica where we found this."
He pointed to the black splotch of blood.
"That right there is Asmodeus, a prince of hell. As Jango died he summoned a prince of hell to fight Damon. And what do we find there. What do we find next to Jango's dead body. A dead demon, the body of Asmodeus."
"What?"
"You heard me correct. From what Jango said, and from what we discovered. Damon can control perfect ice and eternal flames while being simultaneously being a True Immortal. And to make things worse, he's strong enough to kill Asmodeus a prince of hell. This calls for a meeting with not just all the True Immortals, but with him, with..."
Miss Eiko dropped her head into her palms.
"You... You want me to call Demophon?"
"Yes!"

In a secret location, deep under the city of New York. In a bunker below a subway station. Damon sat alone in a metal chamber. Half his body flames, his other side ice. He looked at the ice sword stuck to his right hand. He looked at his left side. At the hand that held fire. The middle part, the melting battle between Eternal and Perfection.
Fire vs Ice.
Aria walked into the dark metal chamber.
She waved, "Damon... It's been a while hasn't it?"
He looked up at Luna's deep sad face.
"It has... How is Luna doing? She make it out ok?" he asked.
Aria pulled up a chair. Her dark black suit contrasted against the singular dim-lit red light that shined in the middle of the room.
She said straight up, "Marcus is dead. But with his sacrifice we're able to kill a True Immortal, or... Well... I think she's still alive."
"So Marcus died protecting you two?"
"Yeah, but I guess you could say he also brought us together. Cause I never mentioned this before, but Marcus used to be part of a secret group of Ice Witches called the Witch Hunters. You met with Olezka, right? He took you to Antarctica, to find that sword-"
Olezka entered the room interrupting Aria.
"Been a while Damon."
Aria leaned forward, "Damon it's time! It's time we enter the big leagues. It's time we kill the Immortal Horse."
Aria was angry and sad, but also determined and fearless. She turned to Olezka as he walked over the corner of the room, picking up an ax.
Olezka said, "Damon I brought you back from Antarctica because I needed you. You have a special power that I need, that we need. We need your power to live."
He walked over to Damon's ice-covered arm.
Chop!
He lifted up the ax and chopped it clean off.
Shloooop...
Damon healed back in an instant.
But now that the ice sword was detached from Damon's right half, his left side started to take over.
Fwoooosh!
He was now engulfed in blue eternal flames.
Aria and Olezka stepped back as the flames grew larger and larger taking up half the room.
Damon spoke up through the fizzling burning, "but how can we kill them? They are True Immortals like me. They won't just die from Eternal Flames like regular Immortals do."
"Damon... We don't have to kill them... This is the time to fight. We have you. The Infinite Immortal. And Aria a Gifted Gravity Witch. We have stronger players on our team. But that's not all... We have another teammate."
Olezka turned around and opened up the door.
"It's a man you've met before. The man who set you aflame."
Mr. Chain entered the room. He wore a long red trench coat and thick red boots. He looked at Damon, at the blue flames coating his body.
"I see you're still burning."
Aria and Olezka stepped back as Mr. Chain extended out his right hand.
"Anaklisi!"
The eternal flames suddenly dispersed into the air as Damon fell forward. He was finally able to take a breath. A breath not of flames, and not of ice. A breath of life.
Olezka walked over and picked up the ice sword with a pair of large tongs, "Mr. Chain found out some information on the Immortal Horses. He is also connected to them and will be able to easily infiltrate without much suspicion."
---
Damon walked through the underground bunker. He walked past the empty rooms. The silent stairways. He finally reached the dining hall. He looked at himself in the glass. His grey suit stripped and long, with a loose overhanging black tie that sat firmly around his neck.
He took in a deep breath and relaxed after a whole month of dying over and over again.
Creak...
He entered the empty dining hall and saw Luna sitting alone. He walked up to her.
"You ok?" he asked.
She nodded. Her face in her arms.
He sat across from her.
She looked up, pouting, "they said you were on fire. And they said I couldn't see you for a whole day."
"It's fine... I... I missed you too... But I had to fight."
"Who did you fight?" she asked.
"A demon... A Witch... But I don't think we should get into it. I think we should..."
He realized she didn't have much longer to live. He realized she didn't have a good chance of living, or surviving the attack on the Immortal Horses. So he leaned over the table and kissed her. He looked at her in the eyes. He sat back down. His hands crossed.
"Luna... I've had to make a lot of sacrifices while living this long long life. And I don't want to sacrifice you too..."
