-Wellston High School-

[John's P.O.V]

"Hello everyone, I know it's a bit late in the year but I'd like to introduce to you the three new students in your class," The teacher stated.

"Please introduce yourselves."

"Hi, my name is Claire. I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and I hope we can have a good time together."

"My name is Adrion, and pretty much everything she said."

"I'm John Doe..." I introduced myself.

"Thank you for your introduction, you can go back to your seats."

And after that, well it was one boring lecture, I took notes and stuff and of course, I understood but I'd probably be better off without all this math crap.

There would probably be that one nerd trying to debate with but I stand by my point.

We were currently in our third year of high school since I hadn't skipped a year and because we were seventeen years young.

*Bells ringing*

Welp, it's the end, time to pack our stuff and move on to the next class.

"Hi there guys, my name's Holden, and I was just wondering what your abilities were, I hope you don't mind." the newcomer asked.

"Well, apart from John we don't have anything too special," Adrion informed the future Arlo bootlicker.

"Really? That's a shame. What about you John?"

"My ability?"

"Who else's?" Holden remarked sarcastically.

"My ability's name is Channel Master but I'll spare you the details since I can't really stay here for too long so... Uhh see you later. Come on guys, let's go we have English together."

The blue-haired male suddenly took hold of my hand and squeezed.

"Dude come on, we got plenty of time to talk about it," he said threateningly.

Look at this fool, he doesn't even know me and he's already resorting to violence. I should start by simply teaching them common sense. If I remember correctly, he was somewhat ok in the original, but he still had his moments.

My eyes glowed fiercely as my ability activated.

"Holden let go of me now or I'll fuck you up," I threatened.

"Excus-"

*Bam*

Without even using my stored abilities, I quickly freed myself from his grip and slammed my fist into his face before he, or anybody else for that matter, could even register the information in their brains.

*Crack*

The elite-tier was sent flying into a stone wall that I created in the nick of time.

"First day and they are already trying to fight you," Claire chuckled.

"It's the only thing that they know, unfortunately, anyways let's go," I said.

"By the way, should I become king, or do I just play passive?" I inquired.

(A/N: Should he become king? Tell me in the comments.)

"I don't know, I guess it's up to you," Adrion replied.

"Oh... Ok." I sighed in indecision.

The classes that we attended quickly went by, and while I had half a mind to skip classes, I decided not to and remain the model student I was for as long as possible.

Because I knew that being such wouldn't last very long.

*Ring*

Lunchtime huh?

"Today is 'triple chocolate cake day!' I don't know about you but I'm going to get a piece of that beauty!" a red blur yelled whilst rushing in the corridors.

He was quickly followed by another orange and black blur this time.

This might be a stretch to say this, but aren't they Blyke and Isen?

Adrion and Claire weren't with me at the moment so I could accelerate the pace without worries of leaving them behind.

And that's exactly why I did, quickly activating my ability, and navigating the hallways whilst following the two elite-tiers until I arrived in the cafeteria and low and behold, I saw the most beautiful chocolate cake I had ever laid my eyes on.

Thankfully half of it was still remaining but it wouldn't be for long if the small line that was quickly growing bigger for everyone to see was anything to go by.

*Whoosh*

I quickly went into the line before it could grow any larger and I sighed in relief before waiting...

And finally, it was my turn. Who knew I would be so obsessed with getting a piece of cake? Adrion and Claire were already sitting at a table eating since they didn't bother to stand in line with me.

"Here you go,"

"Thank you," I took the plate holding the delicacy in my hand

"You're welcome, next!"

I left before any incidents could take place and made me drop my cake.

Oh? is that Seraphina?

Without a word, she approached me looking me in the eye and ordering:

"Hey you, give me your cake," She commanded while activating her ability.

Upon hearing that, the whole canteen quieted down, with only the occasional comments like; "That's the new kid right? He's toast." Or, "I feel bad for him."

Not too optimistic huh... Well, that doesn't matter, let's see how I handle your time manipulation, Seraphina.
