(2 weeks later)
[John's P.O.V]
So far so nice
Adrion, Claire, and I have passed the exams and while it was a little nerve-racking and somewhat difficult, I hadn't lived a past life for nothing.
I had passed with very good results.
My friends weren't slouches either though as they too had some decent grades after we prepped everything together.
At the moment we were on the plane to Wellston with my dad, who was reading a book and at the same time taking notes, probably searching for inspiration.
Claire listening to some music through her headphones, I think... or was it a movie?
Adrian was sleeping though, like a little baby. I wanted to prank him really badly but since I am such a good-natured person I won't do so.
Or will I...
...Nah.
I was simply chilling in my seat, and watching out of the window but it wouldn't be long before we all arrived.
----------------------------------------------------------
(A few hours later)
"John, we'll be heading directly to the High school since it's getting a little late,"
"Didn't you say that the headmaster allowed us to have a house outside of school?" I questioned.
"Yup, I did, this old man doesn't have dementia yet kiddo." He reassured me jokingly.
"But you're going to need to have a little interview with the guy and-"
"Right... that stuff..." I said. No one likes interviews like these, me included.
"Let's get going then,"
It was whilst walking by that we noticed a nice Boba shop just begging for us to enter and we all decided to make a small stop to buy a few drinks.
I obviously bought my favourite mango Boba with my dad doing the same. It seems some things just never change. Adrion and Claire bought strawberry and banana flavors respectively, unfortunately.
It seems only I can appreciate the greatness of mango.
It was only after walking a decent ten minutes that we finally arrived at the imposing building that was Walston High.
"Hi there," a young man with platinum-blonde hair and sky-blue eyes greeted.
"I assume you're the three new students that enrolled. Adrion, Claire, and John, and of course, you must John's father William Doe. It's great to finally be able to meet you all." He continued.
"Likewise uhh..." Adrion started.
"I'm Keene, the current head of security at Wellston High School," he introduced himself.
The chief of security continued, "Come with me, I'll take you to the headmaster's office."
The small stroll through the corridors reawakened my memories of the place, not that I had forgotten but it had been more than a decade since I had last read any unOrdinary chapter.
"This place looks decent, better than back at New Bostin at least," Claire said while breaking the silence.
"Yup, how rich are they? Adrion questioned.
The place looked spotless, with no crater in the courtyards even a single crack anywhere.
It was stated in the webtoon that Wellston was wealthy enough that they didn't mind the students destroying big portions of the walls inside or creating craters. But the fact that those were repaired so easily and quickly?
Did they have a Bob the Builder among their staff or something? If that was the case it would be pretty funny.
"And here we are," Keene solemnly announced.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Come in," A deep voice with a domineering aura instructed. The tone the headmaster used commanded great respect and alluded to him being a very mature and patient man.
Keene opened the door and made us all enter the office.
"I'll take your stuff and bring it to your respective rooms whilst you talk," The young man informed them before taking his leave.
"Hello everyone, I would like to thank you all for choosing to come to our school and wish you all a good time learning here," the teal-haired man started.
"If you have any questions for me about your stay here, you are welcome to ask them. If not you may go to your respective rooms except for John and of course I assume you want to talk to me, William." He finished.
Adrion raised his hand timidly.
"Yes?"
"W-when does school start, and uhh... where are our dorm rooms?" He inquired.
"For all three of you, school starts tomorrow; on Monday. As for your rooms, they are on these small pieces of paper." He answered.
Both of them went and got their papers and left quickly after, but not before whispering a small, "See you later."
"Now that there are only us three remaining, please take a seat. We have quite a bit of discussion to do."
