Annoying Item
Rise found this item really annoying, and it seemed tailor-made specifically against him. It was also mostly compatible with Epsilon, something he did not want to see being offered with the silver platter once more.
"Since you can't see my fate. Perhaps, we can try a different approach. Let's forget about the future. Are you able to see what I came here for?"
After traversing through the gates, Rise realized that the item might not really appear in front of him no matter what he did. It was like he was gambling, letting his nonexistent luck play its part.
He was no Epsilon, the protagonist.
Waiting unrealistically would not do, in a few days, they would leave this gate. Rise could not possibly stay in this gate for months, hoping for the item to show itself finally.
It seemed that Kamille's luck as the male lead was triggered, and they stumbled upon this little prophet monster.
