Chapter 12 Akaza wants a worthy opponent

In a crowded train, a young red-eyed man can be seen eating.

This night was already the 4th night in a row where Noah traveled with the Mugen train, hoping to meet an Uppermoon or at least Lowermoon 1.

During the last 3 days nothing happened, which annoyed Noah a bit.

However, he has come to love the food here.

At the same time Noah activated his [6th Sense] to feel the demons from afar.

As the train passed through a tunnel, Noah sensed a strong presence.

`This presence was defemetively stronger than Daki,` which told Noah that he was dealing with at least Uppermonn 5.

When Noah sensed the presence, he stood up and made his way to the exit.

The moment the train was out of the tunnel, Noah jumped off the train and landed on the tunnel.

"Good evening," Noah greeted the demon.

"Hm, a human?" said the demon in reply.

"You are strong," he said in a pleased voice.

This demon was none other than Upeermoon 3 Akaza.

When Noah saw Akaza, he immediately used [Inspect] on him.

Akaza appears to be a very muscular, medium sized young man with skin so pale that it appears bright green and white. He is adorned with a pattern of thick blue lines that resemble the criminal tattoos he had as a human.

Moreover, Akaza was a fighting freak who loved to fight strong opponents, which was shown by the fact that when he realized that Rengoku was strong, he tried to turn him into a demon to be able to fight him forever.

Under normal circumstances Noah would kill him immediately with his spear, but Akaza was special.

He only fought with Marital Arts, which was a good opponent for Noah at the moment.

Since Noah, only recently got his Martial Art skill, he wanted to use the chance to level this skill as high as possible in this fight.

"What is your name human?" Akaza asked excitedly.

"Why do you want to know that Demon, and shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" Noah countered.

"Im Akaza Uppermoon 3, let's fight to see if you are worthy of becoming a Demon," Akaza shouted before rushing at Noah.

As his first attack Akaza chose a punch against Noah's face, which he countered with a block.

To counter Akaza, Noah held Akaza's arm and the next thing that Noah could hear was a crack.

*crack*

What Noah did was to hit his elbow from below with a folded palm.

After the attack, Akaza backed away for a moment to heal his arm.

"You are really something human, you really dare to fight me only with your hands, you already know that I can't die like this."

"Well, better for me if you are so strong with just your hands, I don't know how strong you are with a sword?"

"What do you say, human, why don't you become a demon? You would have an infinite life and we could fight forever."

Noah did not answer as he rushed toward Akaza this time.

Akaza reacted quickly and prepared for an incoming attack.

Noah chose a very special attack this time.

In the anime community this is also known as Donut Maker.

That means he smashed with his fist through Akaza's abdomen,

Akaza thought that he could block this attack, but he didn't expect that he would have a hand through his belly seconds later.

Usually he's the one who makes this move, but this time it was used against him.

With a panicked look, he tried to cut Noah's arm off with a chopping motion, though with no success.

However, Noah was not satisfied and backed away.

His Martial Art Skill has gone up 1 time in this short fight due to the fact that his opponent had such a high matial art level.

Akaza manifests a light blue, snowflake-shaped compass with numbers from 1 to 12 underneath him. This technique allows Akaza to see a person's "fighting spirit".

Next, Akaza went into a crouching position, stretching out his left hand and punching the air by stretching his right hand forward and pulling back his left. This created a strong shockwave, which didn't affect Noah.

Noah, on the other hand, found this technique so beautiful that he used it himself seconds later.

Noah's shockwave was so strong that Akaza flew several meters away.

Akaza was shocked that Noah was able to use his special skill immediately and even stronger than himself.

"h-how is that possible," he stuttered to himself.

"Stand up and keep fighting," Noah demanded.

Akaza didn't let Noah say that twice and stormed towards Noah again.

This time the two only exchanged fists - fist for fist.

They punched fist for fist, moving so fast that a normal person would not be able to keep up with them.

When Noah got bored of this, he leaned forward and used his left foot to pull Akaza's legs away.

Since Akaza was not expecting this, it took him by surprise and he fell to the ground.

Even though Akaza was on the ground, Noah did not let him go and kicked him in the face.

At the moment the kick hit Akaza's face, Noah got a message that his martial art skill level had increased.

"Enough!" said Noah in a commanding voice as he pulled out his spear from the inventory.

With his spear now outside, the first thing he did was cut off Akaza's arms.

Noah hoped that Akaza wouldn't get a flashback at the moment he cut off his head.

Therefore he cut off his head as fast as possible with a clean cut, and took the head into his inventory.

[Demon killed +1000 Kill points]

When the confirmation came, he took the head out of his inventory and took some blood of the demon.

Now Noah wanted to kill Muzan as soon as possible and return to the Main World to become stronger.

2 months later

During the last 2 months Noah hasn't found any Uppermoon or something similar, so he spent most of the time just cultivating.

Because of this he was now close to the golden core realm.

Noah wanted to reach this realm before he had to leave this world.

In the last two months, Noah has also thought about which bloodline he should strive for.

In the end he decided in favor of the Ice Phoenix.

"Oyakta-sama wants to talk to you," said a voice from behind him.

"When?" asked Noah in reply

"As soon as possible," answered the voice.

"Let's meet him then."

"Greetings my *cough" children I *cough* hope you are all well,"

a sickly voice greeted the 9 kneeling people before him.

"Are you ok?" one of the people asked worriedly upon seeing their leader's condition decline.

"Today we have gathered to *cough* introduce a special person to you."

"Shinobu, please."

"I'll go get him Oyakata-sama."

`Finally it was about time,` Noah thought to himself as he made his way to the meeting.

In a large garden with a small building, 8 people were kneeling in front of a man whose face was completely covered with a scar.

These 8 people were none other than the strongest Demon Slayer also known as Pillars.

At the moment they had different facial expressions on their faces.

Some were excited about the person coming, some were annoyed that they had to come here just for one person and some were expressionless.

However, they were all surprised when they saw a person enter the garden.

He had long silver hair, red eyes and was 6'3" tall. He definitely looked special with his blood red eyes.

In addition, the person seemed to have a good relationship with their fellow pillar Shinobu.

Now, they really wanted to know the identity of the person that Oyakta-sama seemed to be so fond of that he called them all here for him.

"Thank you for responding to my request and being willing to gather with us here, Noah-san."

"No problem Ubayashiki-san, we have the same opponent after all," Noh replied in a nice voice.

"YOU BASTARD!!!!" Noah heard from the side as he greeted Ubayashiki.

The person screaming was none other than Genya's big brother,

Sanemi Shinazugawa, better known as the wind pillar of this generation.

Sanemi was a muscular rather small man who had scars all over his body. He wears a green-tinted version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, unbuttoned to expose his chest and abs with a white long sleeved shirt over it with the kanji for kill etched on the back.

"HOW DARE YOU SHOW OYAKATA-SAMA NO RESPECT!!"

Even if they didn't want to say it, most of the pillars had the same opinion.

"It's*cough* ok* cough* Sanemi*cough*," said Ubayashiki in a weak voice.

"But..." Sanemi wanted to argue further, but he was interrupted by another voice.

"Sanemi, why would Noah address Oyakata-sama so respectfully when he's not even a Demon Slayer said Shinobu from the side as she wanted to continue as quickly as possible."

"Oyakta-sama how about I introduce Noah, after all you are not feeling so well?"

"Thank you*Cough* Shinobu*Cough*"

"The person next to me is Noah, a mercenary who is currently working with me. He is not a Demon Slayer but is above Pillar level."

She added, "After all, he killed Uppermoon 6 and 3."

"What?" " Impossible!" The reactions of the pillars were different, after all, no Uppermoon has been killed for hundreds of years, and now Shinobu came and said the person in front of them had killed 2. Of course they had their doubts.

"I DON'T BELIEVE THAT!" Sanemi said again angrily.

"Why don't you fight him Sanemi?" asked Shinobu with a sadistic smile on her face.

At that moment, the sadist came out of Shinobu, as she wanted to see Sanemi destroyed.

Next 2 chapters are the final chapter of Demon Slayer.

This was also the last timeskip for a while.

The timeskip was necessary because I didn't want to stretch this arc unnecessarily.

The final fight will be from Noah POV and Shinobus POV.

After that it goes back to the DxD world where the plot starts too.

After all, a fried chicken has to be taught what it means to be a phoenix.
