Chapter 145
“Oh… ok thank God” she raise her hand to the sky.
“Come and sit my dear” she offered Christy a sit. Mr. Brown is the happiest among them for seeing his daughter-in-law in his house for the first time.
“Welcome my dear make yourself at home”
“Yes dad” Christy said smiling half smile. She keeps looking round the house “I think I’ve been here before” she told Paul.
“Yes you’ve been here before, come let me show you our room” he took Christy to their room.
“This is where we made the most sweetest love” he whispers to Christy as they enter the room.
“Stop it Paul, why do you always do that?” Christy ask.1
“I don’t like it when you keep whispering in my ears”
“Really? how does it make you feel?” he whispers again.
“Stop it Paul” She pushed him away.
His mum keep running around the house preparing food and carrying Sharon with her up and down as if this is the first time she is seeing Sharon. Making Mr. Brown wonder what has come over his wife.
“Hey.. honey I can see that you are really happy today” he ask.
“Yes, I am very happy because my daughter-in-law has come to my house.”
“Really?” Mr. Brown was wondering if she has been under a spell because he knew that his wife is the sweetest woman on earth. But what he can’t understand was what happened that should change overnight and start behaving strange. Behaving like a monster. But right now he can see that his wife has come back to her former self.
She prepared so many different food for Christy and Paul.
Paul came out from the room with Christy and everywhere is filled up with food. his mother running around keeping things in order at the dining table. he just turned and looked at Christy and he smiled smile at her.
“You will really enjoy my mother, she’s a very good woman” he told Christy.
“Yeah, I see”
“Come let's eat”. Paul took his wife to the dining table and everyone sit down to eat.
“Mum I can see that you are so happy today”. Paul said.
“Yes my dear. I am so happy and I want you guys to eat and get filled because I am so happy today.
“Really? so what is making you so happy?”
“Well, for all the bad things I have done to Christy I want to say I am really, really so sorry. Please forgive me”
“Is ok mum, she has already forgiven you” Paul said.
“Don't speak for her, let her speak for herself. my daughter have you forgiven me?”
“Yes ma, I've forgiven you a long time ago”
“Really?, thank you.”
They ate and are happy and then went home to see Christy’s Mother.
“My goodness look at my children, so you came to see me today?”
“Yea… granny” Sharon ran to hug her grandmother.
“Why did all of you come today?”
“Well, we are here to see my mum. I guess she has changed for the better” Paul told Christy’s stepmom.
