You Be The Judge

"I'm done," Troy announced proudly. 

Megan looked up at him in disbelief. "Already? That took a lot less time than I expected. Are you sure you didn't BS this to get it out of the way?" 

He scowled at her. Why did she always have to think the worst of him when it came to things like this? She was so convinced he was trying to get rid of her all the time! Did she really not see how much she was driving him crazy and making him want to spend more time with her than he should? 

"No. You be the judge though; it is your song."

Troy put his sheet music on a music stand Megan had pulled out of the closet for him to use a while ago and stood behind it with his guitar. He hoped that his mixed-up feelings would somehow manage to reach her as he began to play the intro to the song, soft and sweet like he intended.
