Chapter 7 - Queen Has Arrived

 Alan was burning with fury, “Who were They?!

Sir...I think they were Mr Reynard's men.

Alan's eyes widened. “He knew? “How come? “There wasn't any reaction from him all this while, so how....?

"Sir Alan, I don't know how or since when he knew but those guards called someone and I heard them call the person “Supreme Alpha king.”

Alan sent everything on the table flying. “Reynard! You can't escape death! “NO matter how long it takes I will find her again and I will make sure not to lose to you!

The guard was frightened at his Master's sudden outburst. “I...I...am sorry sir.”

“GET OUT! Alan growled.

The guard ran off gratefully. Grateful to still have his head hanging on his body.

     Dennis and Collins arrived at the hospital, They found Reynard standing in the corridor. He stood still like a statue, it was hard to even tell if he was breathing. His expression was unreadable and his eyes fixed on the operating light.

 They didn't ask him any question as they arrived there, they just stood by him like his loyal subordinates. With Reynard in the middle and Dennis and Collins on either side of him. They represent the perfect picture of their rank. “Alpha, Beta, Gamma.” 

Suddenly the sky turned dark there was a light thunderstorm and it soon started to rain heavily. "The wind whooshes loudly through the night and tree leaves were rustling, happily rejoicing the arrival of the goddess. The cries of a baby came to them from behind the closed operating room.

Reynard sat down and a soft sigh left his lips.  “He Finally found his Mate."

The doctor soon came out to congratulate Reynard Mr Reynard, Congratulations. it's a healthy baby girl. The operation was tough, The labour wasn't easy, The Placenta was already separated from the mother and child. There wasn't any source of oxygen or nutrients to the baby yet she survived.

 She came out strong and healthy. She has a strong will to live. She was born preterm but she's as healthy as any full term baby. “A strong one you have there.”

The doctor was full of praises for the newborn, Dennis and Collins couldn't help looking at each other.

“Only a strong one can stand by him.”

“That's the spirit of a great Luna.”

A very beautiful Young looking woman with very long black hair with silver line, stood under the bright moonlight, She raised her head and look at the sky. The thunderstorm and the heavy rainfall, The whooshing winds and the rustling trees are all a symbol of one thing. 

“She has Arrived.”. “The Queen has Arrived!

  The woman Laughed loudly and took her stick before walking away. She went inside and sat down, she turned to another woman was fuming because of her failure. Susan was angry because she didn't succed in bringing the child away.

“What would Alan think of me now?!

Mom! What should we do now?  Alan wants the baby, He wants to raise her and teach her to hate Reynard. That's the only way we can make her  do our bidding.

   Alice gave her daughter a condescending look. “I will give you one more chance Susan. I will give you the chance to go and take the baby away. but you must make sure you get back to me before the moon comes out.

Susan was really happy. She could prove to Alan that she wasn't useless and she is capable of helping him with his quest.

Come to me tomorrow and I will transform you into someone and in this form you will be unstoppable! But the spell will only last for two hours after which you will go back to your old self. And if the moon comes out while you're still in that form then......"

Susan looked at her mother quizzically. Then?"

“Then you will lose all your powers or even worse your life.”

 “Do you agree to this? 

Thinking about how happy Alan would be if she succeded Susan chose to take the risk. It Is all worth it for him Susan concluded. “I Agree.”

  Freya was transferred into the VIP Ward, She was very weak, she looked very weak, her face was pale. Through her face one could tell that the birth was really a tough one. 

Dennis entered the room to check on her. Freya Smiled at him. Mr Dennis", You came.” 

 “Why would I miss the birth of Luna? I wouldn't miss it for the world.”

Dennis flashed her his usual charming smile. “Yes, I heard you were bleeding and rushed down. 

 Freya felt grateful to this stranger who cares so much for her and her baby. “Have you seen her?

 “How could he see her when she is with the heartless demon?” 

Dennis shook his head sadly. No.” 

“She is in the Neonatal ward.” She was placed in the incubator since she was born preterm. “You can go and see her.

 “I will.” You should also rest, Reynard has sent for some homemade food for you.”

Freya's face showed a glint of surprise. “Mr Reynard is here too?

 “Yes, He is with the baby” Dennis pouted

  Freya felt a sting in her eyes.

    A very busy man like Mr Reynard spared time to come to welcome her baby while her own father isn't  even aware of her birth yet.

“If only she had married a better person.”

  Mr Reynard cares so much for his dead wife and child that he could support an unknown person like myself and be with us. “I am so overwhelmed.” I don't know what to say. But I hope my daughter gets a good man Like Mr Reynard when she grows up.

 “Dennis shook his head and Thought. 

“Not a man like him but she gets Mr Reynard himself!
