Chapter 23 - Meeting Esme

  Grace was Awestruck, She turned to look at the person holding her hand. He knees went weak when she saw the anger in his eyes. The guy gave her a disdainful glare before shoving her aside. “Try that next time and you'd be six feet under the ground before you know what hit you.

  I....was..."  Grace tried to explain but the guy already turned away from her, he went to Esme and bowed before her. “Are you okay?

  Esme looks around the cafeteria and saw the curious, hateful and envious gazes she got from the other students. She mouthed a “Thank You” and gave him a look, silently asking him to leave. Reuben got up, scanned Esme to make sure she was okay, he glared at Grace and left.

 Grace could feel herself still trembling from the Angry glare she got from the guy. “Who is he?  Why does he seem so different? “His eyes...."
