"We fight our way out." Reynard said and Esme nodded in agreement. She would surely take Selena out of there or die trying.
"Let's do it." She said, holding Reynard's hand.
"Esme Don't!" Selena shouted. "You can't wage war against Lucifer!
"And why is that?"
"He is too strong and powerful!
"I don't care how powerful he is, I won't leave you back here."
"You have to!"
Selena wanted to jump down from Esme's arm and run far away from her so she wouldn't have to risk her life but she was only a stone and there is only a little she can do.
"Esme, if you leave me behind now, you can come back to get me." Selena tried to persuade her but Esme had her mind made up and Reynard was Willing to do anything to save his mate.
He would give in to whatever she wants, even if he has to stand up against Lucifer himself.
