Chapter 10 - His Weakness

 The baby was crying and Reynard's heart came alive. “What does this mean?  “Is this a good sign?"

 When the nurse didn't hear any response from Reynard, she raised her head to look at him and ask him what should be done since the baby was refusing to take milk. “Mr Reynard....I...."

 Collins and Dennis also collected themselves out of their thoughts and looked up to find Reynard gone.

 Where did he go?” 

 “Where did Mr Reynard go so suddenly?

 He went that way." Dennis said to the nurse, so she won't overthink. “I think he went to the ward.”  He should already be with the baby.

 Oh, okay. I didn't notice. The nurse got up and went to the Neonatal Ward.

   This isn't right" Collins Thought. Since the arrival of the baby, Reynard has been breaking the rules.   “He even disappeared in front of a human! 

As if reading Collins mind, Dennis defends Reynard.  “Do you blame him? “He has stayed for a thousand years of his life without a mate. “I'm sure his wolf and demon are just too enthusiastic.”

 “I just hope she doesn't become his weakness! Collins voiced out his worries.

 “I am sure she won't. After all she was also born strong and also comes from two extremely powerful lineage. Dennis Placed his hand on Dennis shoulder reassuringly. “Don't worry, She won't be".

  They both went to the Neonatal Ward,The baby had stopped crying. And truly Reynard was there holding the baby Close to his chest, Right where his heart was located. As if telling her that “See! You woke me up!"

 Collins shook his head and murmured, “Hopeless.”

  “Reynard what do you want to call her, Dennis asked.

  Reynard raised his head and look at the Baby, the baby was also looking at him. Their gazes were locked as if they were sharing some telepathic communication.  Reynard Smiled at the baby he didn't look at the Dennis but replied. “I will wait for Freya to give her a name.”

 Speaking of Freya, Dennis reminded Reynard that he hasn't gone to see her yet. 

  Reynard nodded. “I will go to her now and ask her what name she has chosen for the baby.”

 Right at this moment a call came in and Dennis realized that it was his phone ringing. He answered the phone.  “I will be there, right away."

  Dennis turned to Collins and Reynard, There is an emergency at the office. The boards of directors at Ray Internationals Europe branch wants an explanation for the contamination of the energy drink sent there 

  “Contamination? How? Collins asked. Disbelief was written all over his face. “How could our drinks be contaminated.

 We were sabotaged! Dennis said with a Stoic expression. He had a hunch who could have done it but he couldn't act without proof, Hence he kept quiet and decided to investigate in secret.

  “I will go over to the company and have a meeting with them. “I will inform you of the outcome.” Dennis said and gave Reynard a bow.

  “I trust you to handle it.” Reynard nodded in response. 

 I will also go with him.”  I want to know who was bold enough to sabotage our drinks!" He halted his movement when he got close to Reynard and whispered  “Dont you think the people of grace city are becoming so Daring? First they messed with your Mate and now they are messing with your company. 

   “Aren't you becoming too Lenient?"
