RECONCILIATION

It is been 4 days since Krish went back home. He hasn't called or sent a message since he left. I was anxious, why has he become completely silent?

I wanted to call him by myself but something was stopping me. I called Riya.

"Hello", I said as she picked up the call

"Hello, how are you?", She said

"I am doing good. How is Krish?"

"I don't know"

"What do you mean by I DON'T KNOW?", I was getting stressed

"His mobile is switched off. He doesn't open the door. So yeah I don't know how he is doing but I am sure he is in a terrible state for sure", she said and I immediately hung up the call.

I immediately informed dad and rushed back to Bangalore. Why is Krish's mobile switched off? Why isn't he in contact with anyone? Why has he shut everyone? ? Did he do something to himself? I hurt him so much, he just loves me so much but in return, I was only hurting him. Will he leave me now? If he does what will I do? I will lose him again. I will become all alone again.

All kinds of negative thoughts were running inside my head. I directly went to Mathew's house because I was not thinking straight and the only person who can knock sense into me is him.

I was sitting on the couch next to Mathew, fidgeting my fingers and tapping my feet continuously. He sent Sahana to play in her playroom. I assumed that he understood that I want to have an important conversation with him.

"Tell me what happened now?", he asked me

"I understood Krish", I replied

"And"

"I want to apologize to him for my behavior"

"Then what are you doing here?"

"He hasn't called me for the past four days and his mobile is switched off"

"He will be at home. I am damn sure about it"

"I know he will be there"

"So now go home, tell him about your pregnancy"

"He knows it already"

"I know that he knows it, but the scenario wasn't nice, this is the happiest news to him so go say it in a gesture which will bring a smile on his face and in a way that put a full stop to all these misunderstandings and makes sure it will get your relationship back to normal"

"Okay fine, now come home with me call Sahana also"

"But why us, you go"

"I want you to accompany me because I want to introduce you and Sahana to my husband, Mr. Krish Malhotra"

"Okay, Sahana get ready we are going to mausi's house", he shouted.

We drove in my car to my place. Mathew suggested I go first and after a few minutes he and Sahana will come. I agreed to it and entered the house, I took a stroll around the house in hunt of Krish but he was nowhere to be seen. I noticed Racheal standing on the balcony, I went near him and asked him where Krish is, but he had no idea where he has gone. Wait, Riya told me that Krish didn't let anyone into the house but how is Rachael here? I pushed aside the thought because right now it is important for me to find my husband. I rushed to Mathew who was buying chocolate with Sahana.

"Calm down, take a deep breath, why are you in a such hurry", Mathew asked me

"Krish is not home and I don't know where he has gone", I replied

"He will come back home in some time, there is nothing to worry he is not a small kid to get lost"

"But I want to meet him right now", I said

I closed my eyes and started to think hard, where could have he possibly gone? After a few seconds, I got my answer. I snatch car keys from Mathew and start driving. In 5 minutes I reached Lalbagh, I parked the car and started running in the direction of the lake. Guess what my intuition was right, Krish was standing in front of the lake, looking up at the sky and lost in thoughts. I could tell that he was disturbed and bothered. I slowly walked near him and interlock my fingers with his. He gets startled by my touch and turned towards me. He looked so pale, I could say he had cried a lot because his eyes were swollen, and maybe didn't sleep also he had prominent dark circles, he had lost weight also he looked haunted and weak. I feel sorry for living with him alone now

"When did you come?", he questioned

"Just now", I replied

"How did you find me?"

"Very simple, I know very well what will my husband do when he is bothered and wants to calm down his mind"

"What do I do?"

"Either you will come here and see this sky like an idle which is boring or you will come to me and sleep on my lap"

"Hmm"

"You didn't come to me even after knowing that I arrived in Bangalore this morning and was in Mathew's place."

"How do you know that I know about your arrival"

"I know that dad sent you a message, but still you didn't come so guessed you would be here and I was right"

"You know me way better than the way I know about myself"

"I am sorry I shouldn't have left you, you look like a disaster now"

"It's okay you needed some time alone and I am fine you know I just missed you a lot I guess I can't even handle your absence for a few days"

"Krish I'm sorry I shouldn't have acted like that when I got to know the truth, you know I couldn't control my emotions"

"I didn't get you, why are you apologizing?"

"I was pretty rude to you, right"

"Have you gone nuts, anyone in your position would have reacted like this or maybe even worse than you and I understand your feelings, so you need not have to be sorry, it is me who has to plead for your forgiveness"

"Shh! No more sorry and all, now we both are back to normal on good terms, right"

"In very good terms"

"So then listen to me", I take his hand and place it on my stomach "We are going to be parents in a few months, we are going to step into a new phase of life. Krish I am carrying your child, let's be pregnant together, let's learn how to be parents together, and let us love each other more and more with each passing day. I love you my husband thank you for loving me, taking care of me, and now making me soon-to-be mommy", I said

He caresses my stomach, his eyes filled with tears, and then lifts me and starts turning around, I tap his shoulder and ask him to put me down. As he puts me back to the ground he kneels in front of me, pulls me closer, wraps his hand around my waist, and places his ears on my stomach. He then stands up and locks his eyes with mine.

"I love you Megha", he said and kissed my forehead.

I was enjoying the moment while a phone call disturbed us. It was Mathew calling me, I received the call and inform him about the situation and told him that I will be back in a few minutes. Krish and I drove back home.

It was after years that these two important men in my life Krish Malhotra and Jones Mathew were meeting today. I was very happy and I was slightly afraid about how Krish might react after meeting Mathew, but nothing much happens as they both met they hugged each other and apologized to each other. I was very happy seeing those two having a normal conversation. That is when I got to know that they both met each other a few days ago and cleared all their misunderstanding and were on good terms now. With this happiness filled in me, I take the good vibe and started to cook delicious food for everyone.
