"Tell me", he said impatiently punching his hand into the wall

"Abhi why are you acting like this", I ask him

"Acting like this… acting like what"

"Like why are you upset, you have been avoiding me for a long time"

"Yes, I'm avoiding you"

"Why?"

"So don't you know the reason behind it"

"If I know why the heck would I ask you"

"Why were you speaking to that guy Jones Mathew?"

"See he is a boy from my college, that day I met him after years so I spoke to him"

"Do you think speaking to him was fine"

"What's wrong in speaking to him?"

"I don't know, you must stop talking to him that's it"

"What do you mean by stop talking to him?"

"Don't meet him ever, isn't it that simple"

"Sorry, Abhishek. You are being unreasonable. He is one of the most important men in my life"

"Most important man. Wow! Megha", he said sarcastically clapping his hands

"I don't know why on earth you hate him so much"

"Yeah you are right, I shouldn't hate him even after knowing that my wife speaks to him on call during the nights and he is the most important person in her life. After all this, I should actually have a lot of love towards him right?"

"Don't you dare speak like this with me, Mr. Abhishek Malhotra"

"Do you seriously want to have this damn fight for such a silly reason"

"Abhishek I guess we need to stop this useless argument. Just spill out whatever is running in your head"

"I hate Mathew so much. The worse is that I can't stand seeing that you both are these close to each other after whatever he did. He can never be a good person in your life"

"Don't talk without knowing anything about his and my bond. It is so simple that Mathew and I are good friends actually we are more like siblings. Wait you mentioned the past. What did he do to you? Do you know Mathew already?"

"So you have forgotten what you have gone through because of him, the nuisance he created around you. You even stayed in the hospital for more than a week because of him."

"Wait how do you know all this? I have never mentioned anything about Jones Mathew to you or anything about the hospital thingy"

"I'm going out, you just return home safely I'll ask uncle Dhruv to drive you back home.", he walks away from there

"Abhi you didn't answer me… Abhi… Abhishek", I shout but he doesn't even look at me.

I was stressed out, felt tired, and was losing balance. Dad became anxious as soon as he sees my condition and soon took me to the hospital nearby. I enter a room, after the check-up, and sit in front of a female doctor, she looked like she might be around her mid-forties, dad was sitting next to me worried.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Abhishek", the doctor said

"Huh?" I was puzzled

"You are pregnant"

"Is it true"

"Yes, probably five weeks. So you need to have an appointment once every month"

"Okay"

"You need to take regular pills and here these sheets have do's and don'ts you need to follow these", she hands me over the pills and rules.

Then we thanked the doctor and took a leave. I climb into the backseat of dad's car, I close my eyes and lean my head on the headrest. I am completely happy, but there is a disturbing feeling about Abhishek. I'm sure he will be happy but what about the unknown misunderstanding running between us. It will be fine soon. He will become normal. Dad parks the car in front of the house, walks in and I sit on the couch. I was in mixed feelings, one way I was happy because I am going to be a mother soon and on the other side my husband is so angry and walked away from me and I don't even know the reason behind it.

"Congratulations, sweetie", dad wished me as he parked the car in front of my house.

"Thank you", I reply dully

"Are you worried about Abhishek?"

"Hmm-mm. You know the way he reacted towards me today was unusual, he hasn't spoken to me properly since the time I met Mathew"

"See dear, he will be alright once you say him this happy news everything will come to an end"

"I hope so"

"Do you want me to stay over tonight?"

"No dad, I'm fine"

"But..."

"Don't worry dad, you go home and start parking aren't you leaving for Chennai tomorrow night"

"Yes, I hope you both reconcile soon"

"We will dad, he is going to be on cloud nine after knowing about our love seed growing inside me", I said caressing my belly

"Go to sleep and I will take a leave"

"I will wait for him, you drive safely back home it is late already"

"Okay, bye"

I dig into my purse for the sheet of do's and don'ts and start reading it. I finish reading it completely but Abhishek isn't still back home, I try hard to figure out what's wrong with him and how he knows about my past which I have never told him. Maybe he is your Krish Malhotra or maybe he has been stalking you for a very long time or maybe your dad might have said to him these all. My inner-self starts to tell me all the possible reasons which made me more confused. I try to distract myself and wait until he comes so that we can speak and clear this. I couldn't stay calm, I take a stroll around the house to sit on the couch and doze off. I woke up and look at the time it was 1 midnight and Abhishek was not back home still.
