(Bell POV)
Morning arrived and the first thing that i did was read the sheet with my status that Hestia transcribed from my falna.
All my stats were at 0, thing that is understandable as I just got my falna. But what realy drew my attention was the skills section.
I had a skill called "Red dragon emperor".
The god who reincarnated me has realy granted my wish.
I call upon the sacred gear within me by doing the activation ritual shown in the DxD anime, it was basicaly just imagining something extremly powerful going into your right hand. The original wielder of the boosted gear had imagined himself doing a kamehameha from the dragonball anime.
Hestia watched me as I did this and the red boosted gear gauntlet apeared on my right hand. What surprised me was the white dividing gear gauntlet apearing on my left hand at the same time.
"I thought I would only get this once I reached balance breaker! Oh well, I am not looking at a gifted horse in the mouth." I coment.
"So these are sacred gears?" Hestia looked curiosly at my missmatched gauntless. "I can't feel any divinity from them. They just look like regular gauntlets made from dragon parts to me."
"Ok, let's try to boost now."
"BOOST!" the gauntlet bellowed.
I can feel the power coursing through my veins, it is way more then just a double of my own power, but still knowing I was weak in this universe let a bad taste in my mouth.
With one boost, I was at the top of level 1 acording to Hestia, something that usualy takes years to acomplish, however, the level cap in this world is theorized to be level 10, and it is an exponential increase in power with each level up!
Yes, I am weak like an ant.
I disspell the boost and the gauntlets, and after breakfast, I leave Hestia's church and head to the guild to register as an adventurer.
I tried to register as an adventurer before, but I needed the blessing of a god to complete it, that is where Hestia came in.
She was a no name godess in this world, and was desperat- er... kind enought, to take my scrawny ass in.
To be honest, I coulden't ask for a better patron god then the goddess of home and hearth, I will forever be gratefull to her for taking me into her familia.
.
Arriving at the guild, I finish my registration and meet Eina-san, she was going to be my guild advisor for the dungeon.
The dungeon is the misterious hole in the earth whitch is the source of all monsters. Inside, it is divided into floors with diferent layouts, ranginging from forests and caves to graveyards and volcanos. It is unknown how many floors it has, as the bottom has never been reached.
Adventurers like me dive into the dungeon to both cull the monster's numbers so they don't overflow onto the surface and also to harvest said monsters materials. The most common of monster drops is the magical stone that works as the monster's core, it is present in all monsters and it provides energy for the inhabitants of this world, the stone is also the monster's weakest point.
Eina-san spent a couple of hours explaining the layout of the first few floors, making me memorize them so I would not get lost, she also gave me a crash course on the monsters' behavious and the do and don'ts of those floors.
After the lessons on dungeoning, I was cleared to explore said dungeon.
I got a courtesy adventurer starter pack from the guild, it consisted of a pouch to collect magic stones, a knife to carve said stones out of a monster's body, and a simple light armor chestpiece so you don't die too easily colecting those stones.
Now, I am not sure I need that, as my boosted gear can work as weapon, armor and storage, but you never know right?
I leave the guild and head straight to the dungeon.
The dungeon is located right below babel tower, witch is the tallest building in this world. Babel tower was made by the gods and it's floors house some of them, some shops of the Hephaestus familia are also mixed in there as well.
Arriving at the dungeon, I summon my gauntlets and get to work on the goblings and kobolds I find.
"BOOST!"
guys, what is the diference between a gauntlet and a gauntless? genuine question here
