Chapter 6: Taking care of the trash

It's been four days since Luffy came to the town of Nachala, also known as the village of Legends, now you maybe asking, why is it called that, over 30 years ago the village had an old tradition, where some of the children would be sent out at the age of 16 as that's the age of an adult in this world, though this tradition died out as the village got larger.

Some of them became Legends who slayed powerful monsters, gained riches and cemented themselves in the history of the world giving fame to the small village now town.

That and this is the equivalent to beginner town in rpgs. Anyway during this time Luffy and Skipper have been doing quests ignored by the adventurers have ignored which brought up their reputation by a bit.

Duncan:"Kiddos I'd like you to meet Cornelius." Duncan stretched his arm around a elf with green eyes and long green hair, he was wearing a suit and had on a pair of glasses.

Cornelius:"Duncan I'm here on business not to party, though invite next time you hold a party, their awesome." said the elf while pushing up his glasses like a certain grey haired medical ninja, Duncan could only nod his head in agreement.

Cornelius:"On to our business we have a few houses, but we have a few leases on a few vacant locations."

Luffy:"I'd like to check out the vacant locations I'd like to build my own house."

Cornelius:"Sure that can be arranged, we have some on the outskirts of town, not too far thank you."

Luffy:"I'd like to see the biggest one first." he nod and he ordered a carriage to the location as it was quite far, the ride for Luffy was unexpectedly comfortable, he didn't expect this for a carriage. As they made it they were at a small clearing with alot weeds and other plants, it seemed the place hasn't been tended to in a while, there was forest behind it.

Cornelius:"It's been ignored for the past few years and it's the cheapest spot there is, an old church stood here, but it no longer used ever since that time. It'll cost 4 gold."

Luffy:"I'll take it!" Luffy handed him the money and signed up a few documents.

Duncan:"So what now?" Luffy took out a blue print he drew up.

Luffy:"Now I build let's start with the foundations." Luffy summoned a magic circle and foundations for a house erupted suprising both Duncan and Cornelius. The two watches in awe as Luffy made a house with his magic.

Cornelius:"Luffy-san can you explain how you did that, aren't magic circles normally used in Alchemy are rituals?" Cornelius has been extremely interested in magic since he was child.

Luffy:"Eh? That's just something I invented, with enchantments I create runes out of my mana and..." Luffy explained his magical system.

Cornelius:"This is revolutionary you can cast spells like that without the need for a chant, this could bring in a new generation of magical research, Luffy can you teach me this!"

Luffy:"No way sounds like too much work." Luffy finished his mansion while Cornelius dropped down depressed. Luffy and Skipper walked into they're new home.

Duncan:"~Whistle!~ Not bad this place is pretty good."

Skipper:"This place is alot bigger than our old house."

Luffy:"Of course it is. This is gonna be home away from home."

Later that day Luffy used [Magic Materialzation] to furnish his home and he even made a refrigerator that works with runes.

Skipper:"So up for another quest?"

Luffy:"Sure let's take a D-rank this time." The two then went out to the Arcadia feild where they saw rookie adventurers like themselves fighting slimes, horned rabbits and other E-rank monsters.

Skipper:"How many slimes cores were we supposed to collect again?"

Luffy:"About 35 cores." Luffy then took out a book from his pouch, from it he withdrew a card, with a glow a giant yellow slime popped out it had a lightning bolt symbol on top of its head.

Luffy:"Shocker compress." The Slime did so and became the size of a normal slime. The book Luffy is carrying has all the slimes he tamed over the years after Skipper evolved into a saiyan slime hybrid, he tried to evolve his slimes by feeding them magic stones are crystals.

Crystals and gems in this world can conduct and store mana, while studying magical energy Luffy found out there are elemental variants of mana, along with pure mana that has no elemental change, he stored different elements in the crystals and fed them to the normal slimes he tamed.

He then figured out slimes can evolve into into a B rank monsters Giant slimes by fusing together, so he ordered all of his slimes of the same element to fuse which caused space problems. But they were able to compress themselves, he then crafted items that can store monsters, people on this world have magic items that can store tamed monsters as well, but only some of the richer people can afford it.

Luffy:"Shocker I thought you could help us out I need you slaughter 35 slimes and bring back their cores can you do that?" The little slime smiled a cruel and evil smile it's teeth were even sharp as knives and electricity was crackling around its little body. The slime then zoomed off with lightning trailing behind it and over time slime cores started piling up one after the other.

Luffy:"Okay that's enough return to the card." The Slime smiled and jumped into the card which was placed back in the book. The two then gathered the cores and was about to return when an arrow flew towards Skipper, who easily caught it.

Skipper:'Poison.' Thought the slime as she noted the arrow head was tipped in green liquid. "Luffy." she called out but Luffy didn't even turn around.

Luffy:"I know, come out Welsh." The man and his five party members revealed themselves no one was currently at this part of the field, so they thought they could easily kill of Luffy and Skipper.

Welsh:"Awww! And here I thought I could kill you and sell off your girlfriend before having my way with her, too bad." said the man in a mocking tone. Luffy turned around his eyes were dark, darker than any void, darker than space, darker than even the abyss.

A huge amount of pressure slammed down on the five adventurers even the area around them weren't spared. Luffy threw Skipper the bag of cores.

Luffy:"Skipper complete the quest I'll take the trash." she nod and walked off, while Welsh stood there barely able to standing awkwardly holding his sword. Luffy then used Observe on Welsh.

Welsh is a an arrogant man who thinks of those below him as worthless tools. He was born from kind and loving parents, but growing up he slowly became a delinquent getting in many fights, as he was in the shadow of his younger much kinder brother, who he'd bully daily until he took it far and nearly drowned his brother. He was then kicked out of his home and forced to join a local gang where he'd rape and sell off orphans to slave traders, until he become an adventurer at the age 17. He was planning on kidnapping and selling the kids from the church.

Emotional state: Angered | Scared

Thoughts: I'll kill this fucking bastard and rape that bitch of his woman!

Opinion: Is incredibly jealous you have Skipper following you around.

Reading this pissed of Luffy even more, no one will be finding Welsh and his party after this day.

Welsh:"Don't mock me you bastard!" he ran upto Luffy and swung his sword, but in that instant he lost his arms as he was about to scream in pain Luffy grabbed his face shutting him up. Luffy stared directly into his eyes, in response Welsh pissed and shit himself.

Luffy:"Disgusting!" A magical circle appeared at Luffy's hand and fire spell incinerated the man leaving not even a speck of ash behind. Luffy then did the same to his party members who all begged for mercy, they even called upon their God's but it's too bad their God isn't listening.
