After some time of riding in the car, Ken fell asleep, resting his head on Alex's shoulder. Alex just looked at him briefly before shifting his gaze away. It seemed the kid was still tired after all, Alex didn't push him away and just allowed him to sleep peacefully using his shoulder as a pillow.

Alex looked at the view that was moving backward as their car kept accelerating, the tall buildings, other moving cars, people walking along the walkways, the shops, vendors all over the side of the road, other people in uniforms, and some who were busy taking pictures at the side, they seem to be sightseeing.

"This world is so peaceful, too peaceful if I should rephrase" Alex mumbled to himself.

He just sighed and continued to enjoy the new scenario till they arrived at a checkpoint where all other cars were going through security checks.

When it came to their turn, an officer walked over to their car and stood by the driver's window, looking at the two boys at the back plus the driver in front.

The officer was a very beautiful lady who appeared to be twenty or a little over it, her uniform was so fit that it looked like it was made for the sole purpose of outlining her glorious curves that were enough to make any man lust after her.

Her sexy red moist lips were too tempting,her fair and smooth skin that made anyone want to fondle her,her huge chest that was threatening to burst out of its covering, they bounced up and down with every movement she made, and her behind that was so big that Alex had to put more focused to prevent himself from starring, she was just too much to ignore.

With long brown hair, black eyes, and a small mole under her left eye that further promoted her sexiness, she gave Alex a sweet smile that was enough to drive men crazy.

"Hello cute boy, how are you?" she asked Alex, leaning slightly towards the window, this action made her proud twin mountains bounce excitedly in front of Alex.

But Alex surprisingly didn't show many reactions to this act as she just played along with her.

"I'm fine officer, you are looking splendid today, mind if I get a picture?" Alex said playfully, of course, he was just playing with words.

"Only a picture? why don't you just marry me then, that way you can see me every day" she replied with a playful and amused smile to Alex's teasing.

"Sure I don't mind, you have everything packed, name the date," Alex said and even winked at her.

" Oh, what a smooth tongue you have got there, the girls better be wary of you, you sure are dangerous pretty boy, but unfortunately I can't marry you today, maybe some other time" she giggled and motioned for the driver to finally move forward.

"Bye see you soon, keep looking beautiful" Alex waved as their car moved pass

" Of course, I will, it's a promise" the officer smiled and waved back at Alex.

[Woohoo!! Seems the host found a mature lover sooner than I expected] zero's teasing voice which Alex hadn't heard for some time now rang in his head.

Alex just rolled his eyes, not paying any attention to zero's teasing 'you know there's something more important than that conversation right? Am sure you felt it too' Alex said to zero through his thought.

Zero finally became serious [mm, yes I did feel it] she replied seriously like she was worried about something.

'Care to tell me about it?' Alex inquired.

[There isn't any information about her from the system, but I roughly feel the power of Mana within her, although it's really faint] zero reported back to Alex what she could get from her database.

'mm, I feel so too, I guess I would just need to be extremely careful from now on since there are things I don't have access to yet' Alex quickly decided.

[I think that would be for the best] zero agreed.

Alex was brought back from his conversation with zero by the driver's voice.

"Don't you know that lady, young master?" The driver exclaimed in disbelief, he just witnessed his Young master flirting with that female officer.

"Who is she?" Alex rubbed his nose, feeling uneasy, he could clearly see that she was an officer and was also aware that she might have another identity but he was oblivious to that identity right now.

"For Christ's sake that Anna, the head of the police department here in our country, I wonder why she's out here on the road, something big must have happened," the driver said while seemingly appearing to be in thoughts.

"Oh, okay?" Alex sounded like he was still expecting more information from the driver.

"She just allowed US to pass after some words with you, she didn't even check us thoroughly, that's not her usual behavior, something seems fishy, sigh...I suddenly feel so old"

Alex just kept quiet for a while, if what the driver said was true, then he must have caught someone's attention unintentionally? he honestly didn't think that was possible, well, he would just let whatever was going on to continue, as long it involved only himself he was fine with it, no one could harm him anyways (maybe).

The car continued to move in silence, no one was in the mood for a chat anyways, so they just kept going quietly.

Back at the checkpoint, the female officer (Anna) looked at the car going into the distance, she muttered to herself "Alex jeaga huh?, you really seem special, I will just have to continue keeping an eye on you whenever you are here in the city"

She turned to the other officer who was standing straight and saluting to her, she said some few words and finally left.

The rest of the officers were curious as to why she came out in the first place and was now leaving so quickly but none of them dared to ask the simple question first and just saluted to her as she left.

They had heard the conversation between their leader and the little boy in a black lemo some moments ago and were really rendered speechless, that kid sure had guts, they really hoped they could be as brave as he was someday but quickly eliminated the idea, no one wanted to be on the bad side of their boss, it was better to be safe than sorry.

So they just restrained whatever was in their minds and locked them away in their hearts, never to be released again.
