"Now, where were we? Oh, right. Now you should be able to remember the smell of the thing that almost took control of you right?" Alex turned back to Ikeris and asked in a tearing tone. Intentionally making fun of the bird.
Ikeris was not angered by Alex's provocation as it was truly almost taken control of.
It nodded while staring around the forest.
"Good, I want you to track a couple of people for me. They seemed to have fled and it looks like they have something to block my senses from spotting them" Alex explained while faking a helpless sigh.
Ikeris's body shuddered slightly. It was as if it had suddenly developed a sudden trauma towards anything related to the multi-colored mist. Still, it spread its wings wide before taking off into the air. Alex did not hesitate and instantly followed.
It became a trail of a blood-red feathered bird leading a robed man with blazing wings while being chased by a vengeful golden dragon.
