Max

(A/N: this was when Alex was still known as Max, he had yet to reach the immortal stage so I would be addressing him as Max in this chapter)

On Alex's old planet

A young man could be seen flying over a river on a long blue sword. The young man had long black hair, black eyes, and a handsome face, he was quite tall and had a very manly charm that would attract any loose lady to pursue him.

This man was Max, he was currently eight hundred years old and was at the sixth epic stage ready, a few steps away from becoming a cultivator at the seven martial stages.

He was currently on his quest to find resources that would help him advance smoothly, he had trained for so long and he knew the risk behind attempting a breakthrough unprepared.

Being a loose cultivator, Max naturally had no one to provide resources for him to cultivate and he also didn't accept the invitation of many sects that hoped for him to join their sect because he did not want to be bound to anyone, he loved being free, he had to be free all his life, well, as long as he could remember, he had been free to live as he wished with no one to interfere with his matters.

Max was currently roaming above the okomure river, he had heard the news at the town where he was resting at an inn that a battle between two sects had happened here just a few days ago.

Max was surprised because this was most likely to be the third battle that had occurred within a very short time, and each sect that participated in this battle happened to be a big powerful sect.

He was puzzled, just what on earth could cause so many powerful sects to clash in such a short period?

Though Max was puzzled at the reason for their bloodshed, he wasn't affected much, he didn't belong to any of those sects nor did he have families in any of them, so a battle between sects could only mean one thing for him.

More treasures!!

Yes, every battle meant treasure hunting for Max, many of his equipment were gotten from fallen cultivators on the battlefield.

So since the two sects this time were powerful, Max hurriedly left everything he was doing and headed over as soon as possible because he believed that he would find a treasure he could exchange for cultivation pills.

The okomure river was just called a river it should be regarded as a sea, it was hell big, large? Max wasn't sure what term to use, but the point was that it would take him an entire day to travel across at his fastest speed.

Max had been flying for hours now and still hasn't found anything with exceptional value, he indeed found some treasures already but that wouldn't be enough to exchange for the resources he needed to break through.

After flying for almost half a day, Max came across a group of cultivators, all wearing the same attire which signified that they were from the same sect.

Their group only have cultivators of the fourth blood changing stage down to the first Awakening stage, they all looked at Max with vigilance since the other party was way stronger than them and they did not wish to make trouble with such a powerhouse.

Max too, wasn't interested in troubling the weak, he was once like them, so he didn't plan on making things difficult for them, he just glanced at them and continued with his flying sword.

The group of cultivators sighed in relief when Max flew past them. It seemed that the senior was not interested in the treasures in their possession and they were grateful for that.

Max had just moved a bit when he suddenly felt something from the river, more specifically, the part between himself and the group of cultivators.

Although Max was not interested in making trouble with them, the presence of this sudden treasure was just too much for him to simply leave, of course, the group of cultivators also felt it and they became tense when they saw Max coming back.

"Get to the treasure first!! we can claim it as our property if we get our hands on it first"

One of the cultivators at the fourth blood changing stage yelled at the top of his lungs, immediately, all their party's group members rushed towards the place where the presence of the treasure was stronger.

Max clicked his tongue in annoyance and immediately increased his speed, instantly passing most of the cultivators within a blink of an eye, since he was far stronger than them, he was just a blur to them as he zoomed past and straight into the river.

Before the rest of the cultivators could even react, Max emerged from the river with a small glowing pill in his hands.

The group of cultivators gasped when they saw the pill, Max naturally knew why they had such a reaction as some were even opening their eyes so wide that their eyeballs were threatening to jump out.

The pill in his hand was the eternal flaming pill, a pill that could cure any type of injury no matter how grave or how long the injury was, just one of these pills could cure it and even increase the lifespan of the cultivator.

Even Max was shocked to find such a rare treasure in this place, it seemed the sects really prepared for the battle but maybe the owner of this pill had died before getting the chance to use the pill.

Although this wasn't what Max was looking for, he could exchange it for more than three of the stage seven cultivation pills.

He grinned from ear to ear as he stored the pill away in his storage device, he was about to leave when a voice called from behind him.

"Senior please wait" The soothing soft voice lingered into his ears, forcing Max to turn his head back to the group of cultivators who were now gritting their teeth for being too slow.

A young woman at the third bone-hardening stage stepped forward, although she looked young, Max was sure that she was already over three hundred years old, her brown eyes gleamed lightly as she looked up at Max in the air.

"Senior, we are from the thousands sword sect. Please, we were hoping if senior is willing to exchange that pill for something else, it is very valuable to us at the moment" the woman said, clearly hinting that she was ready to give anything to get that pill, her body included.

Even her group members were taken aback by this new development.

Max didn't think much of it because such things happened regularly in the cultivation world.

He checked her out, her huge breasts and fleshy buttocks that couldn't be covered completely by her attire were the first things he took note of.
