Now I don't know why but some people don't support this. Being gay. This has a huge affect on teenagers, cause people typically come out to people around the ages 13-18. Many kids are scared of coming out because they think people won't like them or that their family will hate them. People have gotten rejected from there family's because of this which is really scary. Now I'm not gay so I can't really say much about how people feel but my little brother is. And I found this out in a way I shouldn't have. My brother has a pride flag outside his house, that is kinda how I found out. Now I know your like well why is that bad or your confused. My aunt is not a good person and she will make other people fall so when she fucks up what she did isn't big. My brothers mom told her about him and she had no right to. My aunt used this to her advantage when she fucked up. I was sitting on the couch with my brother waiting for my parents to get home when she came threw the door. Now what she did she was coming over to apologize to my parent so, yeah. She came over to me and my brother and said, "so Michael (my brother), sense so much is getting told right now don't you think we should tell your dad the secret" Michael had no idea she knew, so he was confused. My aunt looked over at me to make sure I was listening. "You know about the pride flag" is what she said when she looked over at me. At this point I looked at Damien and you could see threw him. His world was just crushed. He wasn't ready to tell anyone and that is his choice to tell us when he is. My aunt said a few other things and then walked off. This is what made me to this day hate my aunt. I do and always will. This is one of my biggest regrets as well. I regret not telling her to leave him alone, that she had no right to know this or bring it up to him if he's not ready. And just call her out in general cause this day ruined my brother. She then went to my parents and told them about him and said he's gonna come tell you just he's scared to and that's why he was crying. He was crying at the fact she knew cause I talked to him to make sure he was ok and he wasn't. This is what also brought me and him closer cause he completely opened up to me on how he felt. I told him not to tell anyone till he was ready and he wasn't going to but my aunt beat him to it so now everyone knew and he had no idea that they did. The thing is this isn't even half as bad as what others have to go threw with their family. People believe what they believe and they can be against things while other aren't. But just cause you don't agree with it do any make it wrong. And for someone to use what other people are against them is wrong. Very very much so.
