"We are here butterfly"

"How is Arthur doing," Mrs. Ramon asked.

Her secretary answered saying he was okay.

"Is he still sleeping around with women?" She asked.

"He seemed to stop since he met a certain woman by the name of Rose " He informed her.

"How long has it been since?"

"It's now two weeks she even stays in the villa with him "

"What Arthur let a woman into that house. Did you check who she was?"

"She's an orphan with a brother who is a resident doctor at one of our hospitals. They owned a bakery but was sold when her mother died "he said.

"How did Arthur get to know her?"Mrs. Ramon asked.

" She was seen leaving Arthur's room after he went to a hotel with Sean on his birthday. She left his room dressed only in his shirt and he later dropped her at a hospital. Then he again met her when she went to work at one of her part-time jobs where he took her to his villa after she got sick leaving work. He later brought her back and she is still staying there till date "

She couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Did you confirm what you just told me? " She inquired.

"Yes I did, the reception at the hotel, his driver and Dorothy all confirmed what I just said ".

" What about Vivian? .Did she stop following him around "

"She had disappeared but came back again at his home, where he threw her out calling her trash. She vanished again"

"She was always a spoilt brat. Now that Arthur has got someone he cherishes make sure she doesn't appear for now "

" Okay, madam if that all, I would excuse myself, " the secretary asked.

"Okay William thank you," she said as he left the room.

"Why are you leaving on a weekend. your supposed to stay here with me "Arthur complained.

" I promised to go with Alex to the water park and I can't miss it, "Rose said.

" But it's the weekend and we work so hard at the company to see each other, the weekend is when I can touch and hold you " he continued to complain.

She also wanted to stay with him but Alex had told her two days before so it won't be fair since she agreed.

"You come with us then. it would be fun "

Arthur didn't say more and rushed to his room to change.

Later he drove them to the water park.

At the entrance, Alex and Ralph had waited for them. The moment Arthur saw him his face frowned.

"Why didn't you tell me he was coming ?" he asked

"Arthur you either go home or come with us " Rose ordered.

Arthur felt angry but didn't leave showing he wanted to stay.

"Do you guys by chance have a couple's wardrobe. You are both wearing matching clothes " Alex observed

They both stared at each other and realized it was true. They both had worn white t-shirts with blue jeans.

Ralph immediately stated "It must be your brother who copied her look " which earned him a dangerous stare from Arthur.

Not wanting to further the conversation Rose pulled Arthur towards the water park.

Rose was excited to go into the water but her brother refused her claiming she had phobia which was dangerous for her.

But then Arthur came in saying how he had cured her fear and had taught her how to swim.

"You refused to even come out when I tried to help you overcome your fear but you let him do it? " Ralph argues.

Both men kept poking each other

as the women enjoy the water.

Later they grabbed lunch which also caused a fight among them.

" My sister doesn't like vegetables she loves meat," Ralph said.

"She ordered vegetables just now. Is it wrong for her to change and love something else " Arthur exclaimed.

Rose had to intervene in ordering both vegetables and meat which satisfied both men.

But then Arthur ordered chicken for his sister which was opposed by Ralph who claimed she loved beef soup.

It drove the women crazy that they ended up ordering all the items on the menu just to make them stop poking each other.

Later Alex and Ralph had to head back to the hospital leaving Rose and Arthur behind.

"Let's take a selfie together to remember the day I ordered the whole menu just so I could please my brother and boyfriend " Rose suggested.

"You could just take my side but instead failed to decide " Arthur argued.

Pulling him closer she positioned her phone in the perfect angle and took several different selfies

Admiring them on her phone she said "We look good together "

He agreed with her when he saw them.

He had smiled when she did, made weird faces when she did. She had pulled him close and took one of them kissing.

"We look perfect together " he commented as he smiled at the photos.

His phone rung displaying his mom.

"Hello mother, how are you doing ?" he asked.

"I am doing okay son, how are you doing?"

"Doing fine "

"I know you are, when are you planning to introduce her to us ?" his mother asked

He smiled as he stared at Rose.

"So William updated you about my life already. When do you want to meet her ?"

"He does his job pretty well that why I

like him. I sent a car already to pick you up " she said.

Arthur wasn't surprised when he heard, his mother always behaved like him.

"I guess you know where we are so let's just wait for the car," he told her.

" Am waiting patiently, see you in a few minutes son " she hung up.

Rose heard half of the conversation but could guess that she was the topic so she asked

"Does your mother want to see me? "

He nodded.

"What, but I am not ready not right now, " Rose remarked.

"Too late the car just arrived " Arthur pointed at a black car that had arrived.

Rose immediately got worried about his mother.

Alex had liked her since they shared a ton of common interests but his mother was different would she be able to get her approval.

The car stopped as she was still caught up in her thoughts.

"We are here butterfly," Arthur told her.

"Don't call me that in front of your mother " Rose corrected him.

Arthur chuckled and led her to his parent's mansion.

"Why do you work in a company when you can own it. look at your parents home they are billionaires " Rose commented

"I decided to work my way to success and not rely on them," Arthur said.

Rose said " But you will still inherit them when they die "

"Probably but not interested my sister is there "

He leads her through the huge doors into the sitting room.

The house was beautiful, filled with gold and glass. It looked like a palace the inside Rose thought.

A beautiful woman who was dressed elegantly welcomed them.

Arthur approached her and hugged her.

"Mother how have you been ? " he said

They greeted each other warmly before he introduced Rose to her.

"Mother the woman I love, Rose West," he said

His mother smiled at her.

"Butterfly she's my lovely mother," Arthur told Rose.

"Come closer dear " she ordered.

Rose came closer to hug, His mother hugged her making her feel the warmth of a mother again.

She chatted with her for a while as helped prepare something for them to eat.

When they came in to have dinner Rose was already laughing and chatting with her so freely.

She took her seat next to Arthur as the servants served the food.

Arthur got some shrimp and placed it on her plate. She always claimed it was her favorite but had always forgotten about it.

But she instantly covered her mouth and nose. Her face became pale and she looked like she wanted to vomit.

"Help her to the restroom " his mother order the maid who helped her out of the room.

Arthur wanted to follow but his mother stopped him.

"She will be back, don't worry," she said.

"I don't get it, she always said it was her favorite but then she acted that way after seeing it " Arthur exclaimed.

His mother laughed and stared at him.

Rose came back apologized for her behavior.

The shrimps had been taken away and her plate had been replaced.

Arthur asked her what had happened.

"I didn't like the smell it made me feel nauseous. I think I ate a lot during lunch " she said.

"She's pregnant " Arthur's mother exclaimed.

"MOTHER..." Arthur shouted

"WHAT..." Rose asked

Both Arthur and Rose stared at her thinking she was joking, but she looked serious.
