"Using You "

After a week had passed Sean talked to Arthur about what he had done.

"I don't think Irene will like it when she finds out "

"I know but I can't allow my mother to keep hurting her. It's crazy that am having a fight with my mother over the love of my life "

Arthur told him to talk to Irene and see her reaction since it involved her too.

Irene had just reached work when Marie Claire arrived at her bakery.

She walked in with a smile on her face and asked for Irene.

"Marie, " Irene said.

Marie Claire looked at her hand that had been injured and frowned.

"How is your hand doing?"

"It's okay now thanks for asking " Irene replied.

"I came to tell you that I will be marrying Sean in a month so you should set him free " She let out.

Irene smiled and walked closer to Marie, " I don't see a ring on your finger but look I do " Irene shoved her hand in front of Marie.

"And it was given by Sean, so if you're talking about the same man then I think it's you who should walk-off ".

Marie Claire feeling embarrassed shouted out, " Mother promised it would happen and am sure it will "

Irene sneered, " I don't know how you can trust a woman who can do this to the woman his son loves. You're naive "

Marie scowled, " Yes I know she is sometimes scary but she treats me well".

"And how do you think that will last. She is only using you to separate me and Sean then later she will dump you " Irene turned walking away.

"If your not buying anything please leave, am busy right now " Irene disappeared behind the kitchen door.

Marie stood there for a while before she walked off in anger. She knew Irene was right but she wanted to have Sean back no matter what. Yes, he had treated her like trash while they dated but ye had changed after meeting Irene that she admired the man he had become. All she wanted was to have him and that was the promise his mother had made with her.

Irene took a deep breath after she left Marie Claire. Sean's mother was crazy to be planning a wedding Sean without his knowledge. She looked at the ring on her finger and smiled, even when his mother still opposed them, Sean had still chosen her.

And that was enough for her.

She went back to supervising her workers with the baking and decorating the cakes.

Rose had been put under house arrest by Arthur so she couldn't go out. Her son was with his grandparent this made her bored being alone.

Her work from the company had been stopped too since it made her strain her body. She picked up her phone and called Harry.

"If your not busy can you come and keep me company," she said through the phone.

"Okay, anything I should bring?" he asked.

Rose knew If she asked for ice cream Harry would say no so she asked for something close to it.

"Something sweet " she giggled.

Harry chuckled and hung up.

In an hour he had arrived. Rose welcomed him with. a smile when she saw what he was holding.

"You bought me a full cake?!" she laughed.

"I knew one piece wouldn't be enough "

They sat down and ate some cake, Rose ate most of it while Harry kept her company with his talking.

"So how are you and Vivian doing?" Rose asked licking her lips full of icing.

Harry smiled, " Okay I guess " Harry passed her the glass of milk.

"Hmm, what wrong?" Rose asked as she sipped the milk.

"I went to her home for dinner and her mother liked me. But Vivian seems to be holding back on something "

"Vivian went through a lot just like me, she might doing that since she thinks you not ready to have a relationship " Rose took in another piece of the chocolate cake.

"But am ready, I was just worried she wasn't " Harry frowned.

"See, you both are on the same page it's just that no one is saying it out. The next time you ask her out tell her how you feel " Rose suggested.

Harry felt better after Rose made it clear to him.

"And when you two have a baby It will have your eyes and Vivian's lips " Rose laughed.

Harry chuckled at her words.

"So tell me have you both kissed yet?" Rose peeked at Harry.

"What?...how can that be possible when I just told you what was happening between us " Harry let out.

Rose laughed even more, " Well you never it might have happened and you just don't want to tell "

Harry threw a cushion at Rose who laughed even more at his red face.
