Chapter Thirty-Eight

The women finally finished poking me and sent me upstairs while they made the dress, I sit on the bed staring at the ceiling as the door opened, I thought it would be one of those women again wanting to stab me with another pin but it wasn't, Gabbie walked in closing the door behind me.

"The women sent me up after poking me with pins for a while," she says, I turn my attention back to the ceiling, I didn't know what I was meant to say we haven't spoken since we had that huge fight.

We stay silent for a while, you could cut the tension with a knife.

"This is stupid we're best friends we shouldn't act like this, now we have to sit down at talk about what happened and what's about to happening ," she says sitting next to me on the bed but I turn away "don't act like you don't wanna talk or you wouldn't have asked that Rudy guy to come and get me," she said which was true, a part me I was hoping she could come, I sigh turning around.
