Chapter Eleven

I was helping Martha sort dinner, while Ryan and Harry were messing with something in the garden, I was chopping the vegetables while having a conversation with Martha.

"That's when I told him he just needed to get over it, I mean it's just a car," she says stirring the food that's cooking on the hob, she told me it's her mum's famous recipe.

"I never get why people are so obsessed with their cars either," I say shaking my head, Ryan's the same he won't even let me put my feet on his 'baby' of a car.

"Ryan told us about your parents," she says looking at me with sad eyes, I don't know how that got brought into this conversation but oh.

"I feel like I'm letting them down, they adopted me, gave me an amazing home with a loving family, but now they're in trouble I can't go and help," I say looking to the floor, she puts the spoon down walking over to me placing her hand on my shoulder.
