Chapter Eighteen

We drive in silence for a few minutes, I didn't know where he was taking me but I didn't really care at this point, he was actually the first to speak.

"We'll drive for a while until we find a safe place to stay for the night," he says breaking the silence, I just shake my head continuing to look out the window.

"We had a safe place to stay but you've just pulled us away from that," I say, still looking out the window seeing all the trees and hills we drove past.

"Do you really think that guy you went to see is gonna keep to his word? he's probably got people there already looking for you" he says annoyed turning the corner, which thinking about it was probably true, I'd only known him a little while but I wouldn't trust him even if I knew him for years.

"This is all your parent's fault!"I shout not caring about his feelings at this point, he looks at me but turns back to the road annoyed.
