In no time, Katherine arrived at St. Leonard Hospital. Upon walking, she can smell blood making her uncomfortable. From the gate of the hospital, she can see people busy putting all the dead bodies in a black bag. When they felt her presence, they all tried to bow over her but when she looked at them with her narrowed eyes, they didn't try it again. Someone spoke from behind.

"The Elder was very worried for his Princess." Vladamir said.

"I'm fine, Vlad. Tell me everything that had happened here." Katherine said. She looked back and saw Drake with the others.

"Paps said you should come back. Let them handle the situation." Amber said.

"I want to know everything, Vlad." Katherine said with her authorative tone not paying attention to what Amber said.

Drake patted Amber's shoulder telling "Let her do her part".

"Yes, Mila...Kath." Vladamir said and started to tell what happened.

The hospital was on it's usual routine, busy treating in-patients and out-patients when suddenly a group of Sanguinarians came to disturb their quite day. They've asked of where the Princess is but because no one knows who she really is, they started killing the weak ones and brought the strong ones into their hideout.

"You shouldn't be here, Kath." Lazarus spoke coming out from the hospital, Cassius behind him. Katherine furrowed her forehead when she saw the wounds of Cassius.

"He can't heal himself?" Katherine asked.

"I tried but their knives had a sacred liquid that made the wounds harder to treat." Cassius was the one who answered Katherine's question.

"It will take him days to heal completely." Lazarus said.

"Let me." Katherine said.

"No, Princess, it's not needed." Cassius said and covered his mouth immediately when he realized what he called Katherine.

"Stay still." Katherine said. Cassius looked at Drake and when he nodded, Cassius didn't move.

"Lord Lazarus, we got one." One of Lazarus guard said making all of them looked at the man the guards are holding.

Katherine finally finished healing Cassius and looked at the man.

"He didn't want to talk, he's a hard headed one." The guard said. They can't see any fear on the man's face but instead, he's smirking.

"Who are you?" Drake asked.

"I will not tell anything unless it's the Princess herself." The man said. The guard gave him a punch for disrespecting their Prince.

"I think we should give him a lesson so he will start talking." Athan said.

"Yeah, let's make him realize that crossing us is a wrong idea." Alaric said.

"I can't enter his mind." Thana said.

"Let me try." Blade said.

"Damn! He's good in blocking it." Blade said. The man laughed making them all annoyed.

"Let's just kill him and hunt the others." Alaric said.

"Good idea." Amdis said.

"Guys, calm down." Dawn said.

"We will think of other ways on how we will be able to let him talk." Amber said

"Speak!" They all heard Katherine's voice through the mind link.

The man paled seeing Katherine as she was walking towards him. He even bowed over her and that was a crime but Katherine didn't mind it because she needs to calm down to know where were the hostages held captives.

"Where are they?" Katherine said looking seriously at the man.

"The cave near the river." The man answered making them all looked with unbelievable glares towards him.

"What is your name?" Katherine asked again.

"Morris." The man said.

Lazarus, even though they were in a bad situation, can't hide his grin seeing the rest wanted to kill the man in front of them because he answered Katherine without giving her a hard time not like what he did to them a while ago.

"Thank you, Morris. Bring him to the dungeon. Feed him and don't hurt him anymore." Katherine said talking to the guard.

"Yes, Mi...Kath." The guard said.

"Are you the Princess?" Morris asked.

"No, I'm Kath." Katherine said making Morris furrowed his forehead and the rest smiled.

"That was awesome, girl!" Amber said.

"Yeah, I can't believe he just answered you just like that." Dawn said.

"Enough for your praises." Katherine said.

"Uncle Lazarus, do you have any plan on how to rescue the hostages?" Katherine asked but before Lazarus could answer her question, Serafino spoke.

"Leave that to us. Go back to the house and continue your training with the rest." Serafino said.

Katherine saw that Hunter was beside Serafino but he was looking at her intently and when she tried to pat his head, it flinched.

"What's the matter, Hunter?" Katherine asked curiously.

"Maybe, he's afraid of you." Drake said. Katherine looked at him with puzzled face.

"You already have your fangs, Kath." Serafino said.

"What? This is not the right time to joke around, Paps!" Katherine said not believing what she heard.

"He's telling the truth, Kath." Lazarus said. She looked at her friends and they all nodded. She walked towards a broken glass and there she saw her fangs. She touched her fangs and even pulled it but when she felt the pain, she stopped. She looked backed to her grandfather and the rest.

"I'm already one of you? I'm a vampire now?" Katherine said with a wide smile on her face.

"Not yet but we're nearing to that." Serafino said.

Katherine ran towards her grandfather and hugged him.

"You alright?" Serafino asked worriedly.

"Yes Paps, why?" Katherine asked looking at him.

"I thought you would feel pain." Serafino said.

"Maybe, I'm used to pain because of you." Katherine said making Serafino rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, let's think of a plan now." Katherine said.

"I said leave that to us." Serafino said.

"No, Paps. Besides all of you, the staffs became a family to me and I will avenge their deaths and rescue the others. I will see to it that those Sanguinarians will pay to what they did to them." Katherine is back to her authoritativeness making Serafino sighed.

Together with Drake and the rest, they've talked about the plan on rescuing the hostages.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Drake asked.

"Yes, I will be." Katherine said.

"But this is your first time to meet them face to face." Drake said.

"I met one a while ago." Katherine said making Drake raised his brow.

"And you saw how he behaved in front of me." Katherine said with a proud grin.

"Yeah, he drooled over you." Drake said remembering how he wants to kill Morris a while ago.

"Exactly." Katherine said with a cheeky smile making Drake rolled his eyes.

"Just stay close to me." Drake said.

"Okay, Draky." Katherine said.

"I'm serious." Drake said.

"I can protect myself." Katherine said.

"Obey me or be left behind?" Drake said.

"Fine, fine, stay close to you." Katherine said making Drake smiled triumphantly.

"Ready, guys?" Drake asked everyone.

"Yeah!" Everyone spoke at once.

"Ready, Princess?" Drake asked. Katherine hissed making Drake smiled. They all transformed to their vampire state.

"Let's go and kick some ass." Drake said and all of them vanished into thin air.

Hunter howled as if saying good luck to them. Serafino patted his head.

"Don't worry, they will come back later." Serafino said and Hunter barked.

"Be safe, my Princess." Serafino said to himself.
