A Frightening Strike

"Enemies, there are enemies!"

As David landed from his flight, the goblin tribe was immediately thrown into chaos. The trained goblins quickly ran out of their wooden huts, wielding wooden sticks and letting out sharp, screeching cries.

Dust swirled up from the ground, covering their ugly green skin.

They hopped around excitedly, staring intently at David like hungry beasts eyeing prey.

"You can speak?" David widened his eyes in surprise.

This was very different from his stereotypical impression of goblins.

"Yes," Lynn answered, "through contact with humans, goblins have evolved some simple language abilities. What they desire most is to kidnap humans."

"They will impregnate human women and reproduce. Benefiting from their unique genes, they can reproduce across species, and the children born of impregnated human women can only be goblins."

"It is worth mentioning that they are not sensitive to human gender. Even men will be trampled by them in unimaginable ways..." Lynn explained for David.

David furrowed his brow, a strange feeling of disgust welling up inside him.

If that was the case, then Alec's companions were probably not faring too well.

Just then, piercing cries suddenly came from the nearby bushes -

"Hee hee, hee hee, humans, humans! Pretty humans!"

A group of green, greasy little monsters came bouncing out from the bushes. They were around 1.4-1.5 meters tall, with twisted, quasi-human expressions on their faces, looking extremely horrifying.

The leading goblin excitedly yelled, "I want, I want this human!"

Its companions also clamored, "Don't take her from me, don't take her from me, she's mine!"

Three goblins swiftly gathered in front of David, baring their fangs, preparing to pounce and grab him.

"Caw caw, caw caw!"

They let out ear-piercing cries, as if celebrating the arrival of their feeding time.

David's eyes darkened, and with a slight movement, the spiritual energy within his body began circulating, transforming into an invisible pressure spreading outward.

He was not panicked, merely calmly preparing for the impending battle.

Buzz buzz buzz!

The first batch of attacking goblins instantly froze suspended in mid-air, unable to move.

Their scrawny bodies swayed in the air, as if bound by some mysterious force.

From their noses, ears and mouths came faint hissing sounds, as if squeezed tightly by an invisible giant hand. Their lives seemed as fragile as paper before its grasp.

Boom!

A deafening explosion burst out, shattering the quiet forest. The immense pressure directly crushed those goblins into dust, the tiny fragments scattering and drifting down.

The air was suffused with a heavy bloody mist, instantly dyeing the surrounding leaves a deep red, like an eerie fog enshrouding the scene.

"Caw?" The goblins in the distance froze in place, stunned. What was this power?

Their yellow eyes were filled with terror and confusion, as if encountering magic that exceeded their comprehension.

Some goblins let out low groans, "Caw caw?" trying to flee this frightening scene, but their footsteps seemed mysteriously frozen in place, unable to move an inch.

In the goblins' eyes, the human before them did not seem ordinary. His figure was wreathed in mysterious light, like a god descended into the mortal realm.

Just a moment ago the ignorant goblins had thoughts of tormenting the girl, unaware that the next moment, they would be enveloped by invisible forces, like fate's mockery. They were helpless, unable to resist.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Continuous explosions rang out, like heavenly thunder rumbling. Goblins within a 20 meter radius were instantly attacked, turned into bloody mist.

Their bodies shattered under the tremendous energy impacts, lives vanishing without a trace.

"Just so much," David murmured. He gazed at the remnants and blood mist before him, long accustomed to his own capabilities.

With this invincible body, even basic skills could be unleashed with terrifying effects, efficiently carrying out indiscriminate slaughter.

"Amazing!" Alec and the others observing from high ground cried out in awe, their eyes filled with shock and incredulity.

The scene exceeded their imaginations, like a feast of magic.

"Being able to utilize telekinesis to this extent, this is my first time seeing it!" Alec's voice trembled, he couldn't help but shiver excitedly, as if everything before his eyes was breaking his cognition of magic.

"Hmph, didn't I say the Goddess is invincible? Now you should feel at ease right!" Leah said smugly. Watching the Goddess in action with her own eyes, she was even more in awe.

"But don't be too happy too soon. These are just ordinary goblins on the outskirts, of inferior talent, only able to live on the edges!"

"The goblins at the center are mostly gifted ones, innately strong, absorbing spiritual energy. They have cultivated foundations!" Alec remained calm, his eyes full of caution.

He knew that even in this performative slaughter, danger still lurked in the corners, and the real test was yet to come.

David slowly moved deeper into the goblin tribe. Any goblins daring to obstruct his path would be hoisted up by an invisible force, their bodies hanging in midair as their bones cracked and finally dissipated into a bloody mist.

"Who? Who dares slaughter my people?" A roar reverberated throughout the entire tribe.

Before him stood a pale green goblin, over two meters tall with bulging muscles, a scar across its face, and an iron blade in hand. It shouted furiously, its voice full of authority and rage.

"Hm?" David was slightly startled.

This goblin was clearly distinct from the ordinary ones, whether in physique or weaponry. Most importantly, it had greater linguistic capacity, clearly possessing higher intelligence.

"Human! You're seeking death!" Seeing David, it bellowed uncontrollably.

"Oh, so a fine meal has delivered itself. With that excellent body, your king will surely delight in you!"

"Hahaha, what's going on recently, ignorant humans keep trespassing one after another!" The pale goblin laughed mockingly, its eyes filled with cunning and confidence, completely unafraid.

"No need to disturb the king, I'll take you down myself and offer you to him!" The goblin leader roared, its gaze brimming with ambition and arrogance.

"Ha? So you're not the king..." David murmured to himself. He had thought this domineering goblin was the king.

It seemed the true goblin king was someone else.

"Die, human!" The pale goblin raised its blade glinting in the sunlight and suddenly charged ahead aggressively, its entire body wrapped in an aura as it kicked up dust, forming a tremendous momentum.

"Spatial control," David softly uttered.

Facing faster opponents, he had to focus more and voicing his ability aloud helped spur his body into action, enhancing its efficiency.

Buzz buzz!

A quivering sound resonated through the air, like a deep, rumbling thunder.

The vibrations were like a gigantic palm slapping the earth, shaking leaves loose and sending small animals scurrying away in fright.

"Urgh!" Feeling the sudden tremors violently shaking its body, the pale goblin's feet sank as if trapped in quicksand. No matter how hard it struggled, it couldn't advance an inch.

It thrashed desperately, sweat raining down its forehead as its face twisted in anxiety and frustration.

"Urgh! Grr!" The pale goblin roared furiously, its voice filled with powerlessness and despair.

But no matter how it yelled, it couldn't break through the invisible barrier, like an unbreakable wall trapping it in place.

"Not much stronger than the rest, but that's it." David watched the scene calmly, having lost interest in the confrontation.

With a light wave of his right hand, it was as if an enormous invisible palm forcefully struck the pale goblin.

Boom!

The pale goblin was instantly battered with great strength, sent flying like a cannonball.

It collided heavily into two large trees, the violent impacts resounding as it then smashed a village hut into a chaotic ruin, wood chips flying as roof tiles scattered everywhere.

The pale goblin finally collapsed onto the ground, covered in dark red blood stains, its body limp and mangled, blood dripping from its lips, no longer able to utter a word.

Looking at the goblin corpse on the ground, David indifferently commented: "Its defense was decent."

Indeed, this goblin's strength was already quite good. Ordinary goblins would turn into a bloody mist from a single touch, but this one barely withstood David's strike.

Though it still died, at least its body remained intact.

From high ground, Alec cried out in awe: "So powerful, defeating an elite goblin in one move. Your goddess, her strength is truly top-tier."

Alec still remembered it took their entire team working together to kill an elite goblin after a long struggle.

The might David displayed was simply shocking.

"Urghh...urghh..."

Sudden muffled wails came from the nearby bushes.

David looked warily in that direction. There were still other goblins hiding there, crying out at their companion's death.

"Urghh...urghh..."

"Urghh...urghh..."

The wailing sounded again as indistinct green shapes stirred in the woods' depths.

With the powerful pale goblin defeated, the entire goblin tribe was instantly stirred into turmoil.

"Urghh...urghh..."

Abruptly, an especially shrill yell rang out from all over the settlement, like a signal being relayed.

Alec's face instantly paled: "Crap, they're summoning the goblin king!"

His entire body trembled uncontrollably, as if recalling some terrible memory.

"Let's retreat and hide, quick!" He yelled at the others, fearing the escalation.

Having witnessed the goddess' might, the villagers were simply puzzled by Alec's reaction.

To them, he was just traumatized, harboring great fear of the goblin king they once defeated.

The ever kind Leah smiled at Alec, wanting everyone to relax: "It's alright, let's keep watching the goddess' performance!"

Joseph also nodded seriously, affirming: "Yes, have faith in our goddess' power!"

"No, you still don't understand..." Alec frowned, speaking in a low, grave tone.

But just as Alec's words fell, an enormous green shape suddenly flashed by with wind-like speed, almost unfathomable in its swiftness.

Even David was startled, his roseate eyes instantly contracting into slits as his muscles tensed, quickly discerning the enemy's location in the briefest moment.

In the next instant, a heavy fist fiercely smashed into his face, the tremendous impact sending him flying back several dozen meters until he heavily crashed onto the ground, only then absorbing some of the momentum.

Boom boom!!

Slamming heavily into the earth, the massive impact created a deep crater where David landed, the ground cracking as thick smoke slowly rose, obscuring the pit.

"Ah!" Leah nearly screamed in shock at the sudden change.

Luckily Emma quickly muffled her mouth, timely preventing any sound.

"How, how is this possible! The go-goddess, she..." Mayor Bern stammered in disbelief.

"It's over, we have to escape now. It's him again! We've provoked it, if we don't run now we'll all die!" Alec had already been scared pale, his body shaking uncontrollably, his expression filled with utmost terror.

The others also wore somber expressions, never expecting such an unbelievable turn of events.
