Family Lady

(Kassandra POV, 6 months after the big fight)

Half a year has passed since we became a family, not 100% a family, I still didn't asked for her hand, I didn't even met her parents, if she has any. She never once talked about her parents in our relationship, I can't really blame her, I also didn't talk about mine. Even though my situation is a bit harder, I can't remember my mother's name and face, but I know she will talk to me when the time comes.

My relation with Clementine improved so much since that talk we had, she always calls me mom and I think it's so cute that I want to hug, cuddle, squeeze her so badly but she doesn't like it that much.

My house is fully built, but given my current relationship with Kara we decided to merge our house together to make a Mega House.

Even with all this happiness, there are lots of things bothering my mind. The other Reapers, getting stronger to fight them, Clementine's and Kara's birthday. Ok, maybe being stronger isn't the priority since I still maintain my training routine, the real issue is their birthdays, how in the hell do I not know that!? I need to ask them, it's the only way. I walk to Clementine and Kara "Hey... So, there's a thing that is bothering me, and I need to ask you guys" Kara interrupted me

"You want to know our birthdays right?"

"H-how!? *cough* Yes, I want to know your birthdays" I looked down embarrassed

"My birthday is in one month" Kara said

"Mine is in 2 months"

(A.N. Let's suppose they are in April 10th or something, so they know each other for 7 moths, april is the 4th month so 7 months earlier would be September, right? Then Clementine's birthday is going to be June 17th and Kara's will be May 28th)

"And I will officially make, *thinking intensifies* 7125 years!" (I didn't counted the exact years so let's say it's this) I said with lots of pride in my voice and face "Hehehe, and as the older one, I shall be in charge of the house. Like husbands normally are"

"Well... this is really random but I don't have any objections"

"Me neither" Clementine clearly isn't interested in any of this family hierarchy thing, she just wants to have fun

"Fufufu, I also have an idea, for us to make LOTS of money" they both looked at me with more interest "You see, in my past life I read lots of articles, I don't remember 99% of them but the most important one ai remember, it said that under the sea there's more than 20 million tons of gold! And I am not counting with the ones that humans still didn't mined, and the actual most important thing here, I want to ask if you too want to become immortal like me, I know this seems selfish but I really don't want to loose you guys" I said kind of sad, Clementine tensed up and started to look down

"I also have something to say to you mom, sooooo, last week I was playing in the kitchen and I got cut with a knife." I jumped in front of her and started to look for a wound "There is no wound, that's the thing, it healed instantly" I felt my consciousness quickly fading away and with a loud thud I faint into the ground out of shock.

My eyes were slowly opening and got up, a wet towel fall on my thighs "You guys know that I can't possibly die. At least from a shock faint. This left in more shock than the day I actually died" with emphasis on "actually", they have no problem with me talking about my last life, sometimes Clementine even asks me to tell her stories for her to sleep, speaking of wich, I never finished the Three Brothers story for her, guess I will have to do it tonight.

We spent the rest of the day playing even more games and having loads of fun. The night finally came, I entered Clementine's room and saw Kara lying in there too. "Clem, do you remember that day 6 months ago that I told you the story of the Three Brothers? I said I would continue it next night but I never did, so as a reward for being the person I most love, I will tell the rest of it for you" Kara looked slightly offended by my "most loved person" comment, "Of course I love you sooooooooooooooooooo much too Kara, Clementine is my daughter, so it is normal for her to be my favorite. Don't get mad at something so trivial" I just made her angrier "I will continue the story now, no one say anything" I hurriedly begun to tell the story before Kara said anything, I will deal with her at bed (Not what you're thinking, I don't know what you thinking but I can imagine lol)

After telling them the whole story, Clementine was very happy and went to sleep with a smile, I was happy until I remembered that I need to face Kara now. We went to our room, put on our pajamas and laid on bed.

"You're not mad at me right? You now I love you a lot, more than anything" I said looking at her in the eyes and caressing her cheeks

"I know... It isn't right for me to act like this, now come here give me my goodnight kiss" I closed our distance and gave her a sweet kiss

"This is it for tonight, we have a loooooong life and we will do lots of fun things" I say happily "Now get in the position, you know I love to sleep spooning" she rolls and faces her back to me, I hug her waist and lay my head on her shoulder "You're so cute, you're too perfect for me" she caresses my hand and gives it small kisses

"Night babe"
