Immorally Impractical Immortal

Arius had played the role of a hero many times, but he's also been the villain in other people's lives. You save some and you ruin others, he was never a saint. If one wishes for death, it could never be granted. To live forever was a fate worse than death, at least when you're alone for the punishment. Truly, love was a dangerous thing, and Arius had avoided it for centuries. Unfortunately, one day it suddenly came to slap him in the face. In fact, it quite literally felt like being crushed by a building. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" "I love you...?" "Do you realize I already know that?" "Yes." "Then why do you say it all the damn time?!" She tried to storm off but was suddenly stopped by the hand that grabbed hers. "For fun." He grinned. She glanced at his hand before saying blankly, "It was a rhetorical question." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wise folks say only fools rush in, so they were all fools. ___________ (I changed the titled back to Immorally Immortal) Cover credits: Myself! Kind of messed up on it though... oh well. So... I've decided to move to wattpad. I guess this is bad news if you care? I'll cease to update on webnovel! I had in the past promised to not scratch this story, and i won't, just... Wattpad gives me more options in my writing style. - Overall, moving things over is complicated, I don't exactly know what I'm doing.

Ch.6| Nice to know

"It's nice to know that you're doing well." Over time, the people that he raised became his pride. Forget all of the corporates that he built from the ground up, it was his children that he felt were his best accomplishments.

"So what is it that you want." David entered business mode.

"A private investigator license." Phillip answered with a little less seriousness. That was a little touch to his teenage persona.

"Aren't you still 16? Don't you have school?" David's question caught Philip off guard.

"Wait, do I have school?" Damn! He hadn't asked Pierre about that, was he messing with him by not telling him? He hadn't been or even thought about going to school for so long that he completely disregarded the idea of it.

"I can get you a high school diploma, you can say you skipped a few grades or something." David sighed. That man never changed, never having to worry about getting to what he wanted.

"You're the best! Oh wait, can you get me the name of an adoption center? Or better yet, set me up for an adoption interview. Actually, I don't know how people these days do all that crap, just get it done for me please!" His tone was as carefree as ever, completely in character as teenager. He was Immortal and was practically a jack of all trades, but despite that he was extremely lazy!

"Of course, and I'll text you a list of kids and description later." David rolled his eyes, not that Philip could even see it though.

"Thank you!" He said other the phone with a smile. Indeed, he fit the roll of a teenager quite well. Though, maybe he should act a bit more responsibly as a father?

"Bye then." David sighed. Who exactly raised whom?

"Wait~! Davey~!" He said in a sing-song way before David could hang up.

"What else do you need?" David sounded like he was running out of patience, but Philip knew he was more than happy to grant his every wish.

"You need to invite me over whenever you and your wife have kids!" Philip really did want to meet them in the future, he loved kids. They were always so innocent and new to the world, while he was the opposite.

"Will do. Now bye." David gave a content reply and then hung up before Philip could ask for anything else. Arius smiled to himself, David was adorable as a child so his kids will surely be cute too. The only thing that could make him happy anymore were people, everyone was different. He never knew what the kids he adopted would be like in the future, infact he had actually raised a few murders in the past.

Arius, spent the rest of the day eating and watching his favorite channel on TV. It was mostly mystery stuff. He had always wanted to find an excuse to be an investigator ever since he discovered the channel. He fell asleep on the couch that night, he was simply too tired to go upstairs.
