Kripkey

Before leaving, Rodan told him that he should accomplish the first task as fast he can because the longer he finishes the task, the shorter the time alloted for the second task. Rodan also told him that he won't be for a few days, as he was busy doing some things, and that he should not be worried about food as Lord Saven will provide for him.

"Kripkey is still sleeping so he won't know you are here. Do not be scared. Out of the three of us, he is the friendliest."

"Kripkey? Who is that? Are there anyone else in this place?"

"No one else, just the three of us are here. Actually, you can ask more about skill seeds from him. Just ask about skill seeds okay?" Rodan looked worried as he left the pond area.

Lord Saven is already in the pond, with his eyes closed. Arthur decided to soak in too, but on the opposite side of the pond. He tried to stay awake, but a few minutes going in, he was already fast asleep, only waking up at the middle of the night.

For the next several days, it was his routine to eat breakfast, soak in the pond, wake up at the middle of the night and daze until morning.

Sometimes, Lord Saven would join him soak in the pond while other times he leaves after breakfast. Lord Saven also added another task of exercising instead of dazing until morning. He actually prepared a training regimen and some lifting equipments.

Lord Saven actually enjoys peace and quiet and Arthur shared his sentiment. But once in a while, Lord Saven would start conversations about the meat, the equipments he needed for exercise. Although he was using broken sentences, Arthur fully understood what he was talking about. Arthur also decided to teach him to communicate fluently from time to time.

On the third month of his stay, something extraordinary happened. It was early in the morning when he was still exercising while Lord Saven was still cooking meat, lightning came down and struck down the highest tree inside the zone.

When the first time he saw that black tree, he was mesmerized by the black shiny leaves. The tree was black all over.

"Do not go near that tree. You will certainly die if you go." He once asked Lord Saven about it and the former only gave him a strict warning.

Now that he saw this phenomenon, he finally concluded why the tree was black.

"Don't go in the pond this morning. Everytime when lightning falls, that will happen." Arthur looked towards the pond and saw the water is boiling.

"Come eat. You can go in the pond this afternoon."

"Yeah yeah yeah let's eat." Arthur was startled to hear a husky voice behind and quickly turned around. He saw a 7ft tall orc standing in front of him. This monster is wearing what looks like a fitted leather pants.

"Kripkey". Lord Saven quickly greeted by acknowledging the orc's name and bowing.

"Long time no see Big Boss". The orc also bowed in response to the vampire titan.

"So this is our recruit huh. A male weak human. It's not even a hybrid."

"Kripkey!" There was a little bit of anger on Lord Saven's voice as to warn the orc not to say unnecessary things.

"It is fine. I know I am weak. But it won't be for long". After staying here for the last few months, he gained a few things from the pond and the training regimen.

He was so skinny and looked sickly when he arrived, but now his body looked very healthy.

"Oh a cheeky brat we have here. Okay then, you are worth teaching. Let me teach you about being strong and everything else like women, mating and stuff like. Ahaha I will be your life mentor from now on. But first I need to eat. Big boss' meals hehe I miss it. Let's talk later."

Breakfast became lively with Kripkey excitedly wolf down the meat piece by piece. Lord Saven went away for a while and returned with a huge portion of raw meat. He then laid it out on the wooden table near the fire place and started cooking again.

Without anything else to do, Arthur waited for his share while watching the orc eat.

"Big Boss, you should atleast this guy where you get our preserved food and let him familiarize himself. I know it's sacred land for you, but you can't expect someone, without doing anything, just eat your food." Seeing that the human was watching him, Kripkey finally decided to tease him.

"He can't for now. After he finishes the first task that he can go there. I always cook for you, but you annoy me everytime with your noise." Kripkey was shocked with his reply. Not only did Big Boss disapprove his suggestion outright, he even rebutted what he said.

He gazed fiercely at Arthur and observed this human once more. "So you are the culprit for this huh?"

"Anyway, Rodan, did he came back yet?"

"Doing your mission because your busy sleeping. You better teach the kid later on, or Rodan will be unhappy."

"Oh right, my mistake. Hehe he is better suited for that anyway and I am better suited teaching the meaning of life.

Okay human, since we have time now, ask away."

"Please call me Arthur. Teach me about skill seeds."

"That's basic stuff. Let me start with the colors of the skill seeds. You better listen up well because I am going to say it once."
