Serenity POV

My head is really in pain. My eyes are too heavy to open. The pain kicked in my brain. I felt like my brain is spinning around. Just then I realized that I was already back in my room. I try to sit but I keep on unstable and fall back. How did I end up here?

"Serenity, you're awake?"

I recognized the voice.

"Maverick? You're here already? What time is now?", I asked him.

I still remember that mama told me they'll come here.

"It's noon already. Our parents are having their discussion a few minutes ago. Your mother told me that you go out to the village last night and didn't come back. Until this morning, your brother's army found you at one of the villager's houses. After their explanation, they brought you back here," he explained.

"Oh... I remember that."

"What are you doing there all alone?", he asked and sit down on my bed around my feet.

He looks at me, hoping for an answer.
