"Evander... Evander!"

Pang!!!

Serenity slaps his face. Evander looks at her in disbelief.

"Why do you need to do that?!", he asked while rubbing his cheek.

"I called your name but you didn't listen so I thought something happens."

"Hmm."

Evander looks around him. No one else was around.

"Where is everyone?", he asked.

"They all went to the meeting room. The Mauve Kingdom wants to discuss how to stop the giants from attacking the barrier."

"Oh," Evander fix the way he sits.

He still remembers the talk with his father. It's so frustrating to know that his father didn't care about his daughter's feelings.

And he doesn't want Lord Berserk to be part of his family.

"What are you thinking about?", Serenity asked.

"I told you, nothing!" he insisted.

Serenity maintains her feeling. She doesn't want to appear that she's scared of Evander. Something worst might happen again.

"You don't need to keep anything from me," said Serenity.
