Married? What does he mean? Why a piece of sudden news? I already reject the proposal. They seem to be fine about it before. So, what is this?

"Why? I already rejected it!", I said.

"This is my order. You need to marry him as soon as possible!" papa replied without a doubt.

"Order? Him? Is he Maverick?", I asked.

Tears suddenly drop down my cheeks. Does he order me? To marry him? What's happening?

"Yes, with the prince."

"What? No!", I insist.

"Serenity, please. You need to," Mama begins to touch my hand.

But, I wiped it away. My body is shaking through the sadness and my anger. Is this what Maverick mean? He's crazy! But, he did say that he will stop it. He better be.

"I don't want to!", I raise my voice a bit.

"Serenity, don't you dare to raise your voice in front of us! Where is your manner?", said Papa.
