Serenity's POV

After doing everything I need at the toilet, I walk back to the garden. I really would like to meet Evander but I don't think I can meet him at this moment. Claudia said he needs some proper rest. It's better if I cancel my intention to meet him. It's not like I can't meet him after this.

"Serenity," I heard someone calling my name.

I turned my back. It's someone I don't want to meet. I begin to grow hatred towards him since my brother said that I should be with him instead of Evander. It's so freaking annoying every time I think about it. I ignored him and continue my walk.

"Serenity, wait!", he grabbed my hand.

"What do you want?!"

"Please, spare a minute or two with me," he begged me.

I wondered what was on his mind. So, I wait for him to talk.

"I want to apologize for the inconvenience that happens because of me. I know you..."
