Maverick's POV

I believe it's the next morning after the honorific incident. I still remember who push me away because of the attack. Thinking back about it, I feel stupid. I walk alone inside the forest not knowing something will happen. I even abandoned Azazel who was trying to wake me up from my dream. My dream about having Serenity in my life. I was blind by love until I was willing to do everything for it without even thinking about Serenity's feelings. I even hate Evander because of it. We have known each other for our entire life, yet I hate him because of this. But then, he was injured because of me.

"I'm selfish."

I wake up from bed. I want to meet Serenity. I just need her to apologize to me. That's all. And I want to see Evander. He saves me without thinking about the damage that beast will do.

"Woah, where are you going?"

As soon as I opened the door, Azazel is about to enter my room. He pushed me back inside. I don't have the strength to fight him back.
