"What's wrong? You said you want to discuss something important," Maverick asked as soon as they arrived at me and Claudia's house.

"Claudia has something that can change our life. Perhaps, it's gonna work," I replied.

Evander as usual didn't seem to enjoy this discussion. He hates when he needs to involve in this kind of thing. After all, he hates when he needs to use his brain. Not because he's too stupid to handle, but it's just because he never had serious reason to be serious with this situation. Nobody is dying, so he won't care.

"The Golden Kingdom wanted normal humans to work with them since most of the faes and fairies already got their job. They don't have enough people to work as a maid, factory worker and other low-ranking jobs. Only normal humans like us would like to continue to work with something like that. There are powerful creatures so, of course, they want something extraordinary," said Claudia.

"So, you plan to apply for the job isn't it?", asked Azazel.

"Yes. It would be fine for us. We just need to do the job. But please don't be an idiot by making them angry. You know we will end to be the slave at the Shadow Kingdom if we still do it," I warned them.

"I'm okay with it. As long as I can live a life normally," Maverick agrees with the plan.

Azazel just nodded. he also doesn't care about it. He just needs money to live. Nothing much. But Evander keeps on quiet. His face remains normal as if nothing happens. Claudia touches my shoulder as she wants me to ask Evander if he agrees or not.

"Evan, are you okay with this plan?", I asked.

"Do you agree?", Evander asked me the same question back.

"I agree with it. I can do nothing since I already got my last payment here."

"Okay."

"Okay?", I asked again.

Evander showed his annoying face since I don't understand what he means by 'okay'.

"I agree with it," he said.

"Oh cool! We all can go there by tomorrow morning! I'm so excited about this!", Claudia was super excited about it. She even clapped her hand.

"Hopefully everything went smoothly," I said.

"Keep your bag with you. Any lost items report will be ignored," said the person who was in charge of bringing us to the Golden Kingdom.

They gave us a tag as the identity recognization of who we are. It's either a necklace or a bracelet. I picked the necklace as long as Claudia had. All the guys picked bracelets. The train started to move to our destination. Our new journey will be starting now. I hope my new boss will be as nice as Mr Eliot. The Golden Kingdom creatures are super nice compared to the Shadow Kingdom and the Mauve Kingdom. Both vampires and werewolves aren't too nice to humans but when it comes to war, they will never touch any human.

"Are you okay?", Claudia asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just nervous a bit but it's gonna be alright. Been wondering who is my new boss," I replied, trying to ease her worries.

"It's gonna be hard for us to meet again but I hope we didn't forget each other," said Claudia.

"Hey, you know I'll never forget all of you!", Maverick replied.

He hates seeing his friends in a sad mood. Not today. I gave my best smile, then take a look at Evander. Every time I see him, coldness spread to my chest. He seems to never have a good day. His quiet personality made us hard to know everything about him. Claudia always told me that I'm the only one who can dig into his mind, but I failed. I'm too afraid to bother him that much.

Evander was the first person I meet after Claudia. Same as me, he seems doesn't remember anything. We asked everything we can but he ends up bursting out in anger. He hates questions. At some point, I didn't think he was a normal human. He might be a vampire from the Shadow Kingdom who lost in the Azure Kingdom. But he has no fang at all. No ability. Seems too normal to be a vampire.

A few months later, we meet Maverick and Azazel. These two best friends claim that they're originally from the Azure Kingdom. I do agree with that. Azazel and Evander always arguing with each other and Maverick will instantly stop them. I don't know why they hate each other too much. We always stick together, are hardly separate and always support each other. We are just like a normal family. I truly love it that way. Having them is more than enough. Claudia once told me that she doesn't want to return to the Emerald Kingdom if she needs to. She doesn't want to leave me here.

"We'll be there in five minutes! Please be prepared!", said the same guy.

As soon as the train stopped, they instruct us to follow the lead. They bring us to the house. Not so small yet not so big. It's enough for us. One house equals seven people. We're about 35 people, so five houses are required. I'm grateful that I manage to stay in the same house as Claudia. Can't imagine my life without her by my side. I might die with people who like to disturb me. I'm a weak person who always needs to be carried. Claudia was once mad at me because of how weak I am. But I can't help it. I don't know what to do.

"Till we meet again," I said to Evander, Maverick and Azazel.

"Of course, we'll meet again. No need to worry about that. I think we still can meet every evening," said Maverick.

"Yeah, true! I don't think they'll forbid us from doing that," Azazel agrees.

"The Azure Kingdom's humans! Please line up here! We will tell you where you gonna work based on our decision!", someone talked through the microphone.

"So we can't pick our job?", I asked.

"I guess. Well, it's not that bad. It's still the jobs that we can do," Claudia replied.

We all gathered in front of the person who uses the microphone. Waiting patiently to get our job. I hope that they'll give me a suitable job. A maid or babysitter or something.

"I'm Sir Rudy. I'm the one who'll charge all of you as long as you're under our agency. Any problem, you can come to see me," said Sir Rudy.

He starts to call our names and our job. I started to feel nervous when I hear about castle workers. I don't want to work at the castle. The castle is too big to handle.

"Claudia Mircalla! You gonna work as Miss Emery's assistant!"

"What? Assistant? It's beyond my expectation! And who is she?", said Claudia.

"We can't resist. Go meet her," I replied.

Claudia forces herself to nod and meets Miss Emery.

"Maverick Trivallor! Azazel Byron! Both of you gonna work at the main farm! Inside the castle!"

They both smile. It's hard to separate them and I don't even know why and how it happened. They bond differently.

"Evander Ezra! The castle stable needs your help!"

"The last one, Serenity Gloria, you gonna work inside the castle. I'm not sure what's your exact job but they need you to work them."

We end up also separated. I look at Claudia. She seems sad since she's the only one who didn't get any job inside the castle. I don't even want to work at the castle. Plus, I don't even know my exact job!
