Missing

He stood to go, only after looking at her skeptically for a long time. But, Jasmine pushed him down.

Gently.

"Not so fast, Buddy," he bounced back on the sofa he just discovered he was sitting on, looking at her with wide eyes.

"What do you want from me?" He asked in fear.

Dylan had his back to Laura as she entered his Office, feeling confident in her orange Dress and 5 inch stiletto shoes.

"Mr. Smith." She drew his attention to her, making herself comfortable on the swivel chair opposite his Desk.

He turned to her and said calmly, remembering Ms. Reign at once, "it's 'Sir' for you."

And her confidence shimmered out of her orange Dress.

"What kind of irrationality do you display, Lorins? You Sue without reason… What kind of a Lawyer do you even have? You would have been in big trouble if you got the Company involved!"

Laura gulped as she straightened in her seat. "I was not being irrational. I simply saw injustice and I pointed it out. She removed me from the whole Season!" Dylan didn't know how many times he had heard those words in just a few days. She continued. "Who does that?!"

"That's totally her decision to make." He said. "And don't you raise your voice at me, Laura. Don't try it."

She straightened all the more. "Totally her decision? What about you? You let her  and you sat there, doing…"

The ringing of her phone was so loud, she jerked up in sheer shock, then proceeded to yell angry into the cell.

"I'm in a Meeting right now, don't call me a…" She trailed off, her eyes widening as the news sank in. "When did that happen?"

Dylan watched with fading impatience as she turned pale.

She turned bewildered eyes to him at once. "Tyler is missing."

"I don't know who that is, but I do know why we decided to have this Meeting, so…"

"Tyler is my Lawyer, damn it! Tyler Rylan is my Lawyer!"

Jasmine listened to Kimberly give her boring speech, with a headache, in Jason's House for Dinner.

"You should have heard what she said to me!" She was actually crying. "They hurt a lot, Mom. So much. I mean, how could my own Sister make me feel like such a low-life? It felt like we don't even have a connection in any way. Jasmine has always been an ass-hole all her life," her brows drew up on their own accord, "but it's really getting worse. I thought she should be getting more sensitive to people's feelings, but she's more way-ward than ever!"

Jasmine listened to her go on and on through the night. In no time, her appetite was forgotten.

She just glanced up at Kimberly, saw her as stupid, and looked back into her mug of coffee, shaking her head mildly.

Ray finally sighed as Kimberly ended, facing his last Daughter.

"What would you like to say in you defense, Jasmine?" He asked, causing her to glance up briefly.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Yes," she drew up, "you don't expect to take after her stupid Childishness."

Hazel's head shot up as Keeon cleared his throat. "Jasmine!"

"I'm glad you're seeing this, Mom." Kimberly sniffed, crossing her arms over her Chest.

Jasmine resisted an urge to roll her eyes. "Well. You guys heard her 'story', why do you still need an input from me?"

"Because we don't trust her?"

"Because we have to know what lead to all this." Jason said, jabbing Keeon in the rib. "Nobody wants a rift in the Family."

"It's all Jasmine's fault!" Kimberly shot in. "Her inconsideration is getting totally unbearable. She just finds a way to step all over others and make them feel like they're under her!"

"Because they, are under me, Dear Sister." Jasmine agreed, coldly, pinning her down with a dead stare. "You included. Why do you hide under my Shadow if it isn't true?"

"Jasmine," Ray called, drawing in a deep breath, "you don't have to say that to her. Or anybody."

"Oh, I don't normally do." Jasmine shook her head, looking away from Kimberly. "But when people forget favours accorded to them, they need to be reminded."

"What favours, Sis?" She asked between clenched teeth. "If I remember correctly, you've done nothing in your Life, but care about yourself only!"

"Well, then. You tell me who erected your Company."

"That was years ago. You have no right…"

"Who was your Model that lead to the boosting of your Sales?"

"It's not like I'm begged you…"

"Whose Sister did you say you were at the Talk Show?"

Kimberly squeezed her eyes shut for a while and sucked in a very deep breath. "Thank you so, so much for all of those Jasmine. I appreciate the care you have for me…"

"Who declined to be the face of a Magazine Cover, when it was given to someone who looks like her?" She asked, causing Kimberly to bang her clenched fists on the table.

"That's enough! You wanted to do those, who was I to say 'no'?"

"Exactly," Jasmine shrugged, "you're a nobody. I'm your back bone, Kimberly. If you don't realize the amount of gratitude you owe me, I bet the Devil is ashamed of such a failure!"

"Jasmine, that's enough. She's your Older Sister…"

"I'm a grown Woman, Dad! Stop trying to teach me how I should behave with people, I know how to handle them..."

"Like what you did to Ian?" Kimberly cut in, causing Jasmine to smile even though she had been cut off. "You don't teach people Lessons only by hurting them. When will you ever know this?"

Keeon frowned. "Who is Ian? What did you do to him, Jasmine?"

Jasmine's smile widened.

She had wanted to keep the incident a secret between herself and Kimberly.

But since she wanted everyone to hear it, so be it.

"The Pilot who she Hired to…"

"Shut your mouth, Kimberly, or you desire to take my name as yours? Try it, it might bring you good luck." She ended with a roll of her eyes.

Kimberly blew so red, she had to bite her lips to stop anything from coming out.

Hazel put her face in her palms.

Where had she gone wrong with her girls?

Keeon nudged Jasmine again. "You Hired Ian for what?"

Jasmine answered with a shrug. "Just one of those who flew my plane." She turned to Ray. "Your Daughter here, managed to bribe him into letting the plane crash."

"Jasmine," Hazel held up a hand, "such accusations are crazy!"

"It's not like I care if you believe me, or not. He needed to be handled. Kimberly, you're free, only because of your Title as my Sister."

It was Ray's turn to suck in a sharp breath. "What did you do to him?"

Jasmine smirked as she fingered the curves of her mug. "A Sorcerer never reveals his Secret."

Ray exchanged glances with Hazel. Kimberly stormed out immediately. The sound of her car screeching away was unmistakable.

Hazel eyed her Daughter from the corner of her eyes and sighed.
