It's been two days since I dismissed Hannah from her job as a temporary replacement for Jess, my personal assistant who finally returned from his vacation sooner than he claimed.
There was only one problem: I hadn't dared to meet Hannah since that day.
Because of that, I kept looking for various ways to avoid seeing her in person, from shutting myself in my office to telling Jess to come up with excuses so that Hannah wouldn't keep looking for me.
"Seriously, Richard. I don't understand you at all."
"Hm? Why are you suddenly talking about me?"
"What's wrong with you, Hannah? For the past two days, I've noticed that you've been telling me to find excuses not to see her or even avoid her every time she passes by."
"That's none of your business. Just take care of your work properly."
"I'd like to say that, but the problem is that I can't just let this matter pass by."
