Hello everyone, my name is.. Forget it, you can just call me a random person. Im currently living a happy life in a small village with my wife and kids, i worked as a farmer and sometimes hunt for food outside, i wasn't originally born here, and i just moved in quite recently. The reason why decided to live here? Well, its because of.. Danger, when i was a kid, i lived in a small village too, i always wander off to a nearby forest with my friends, if i remember, i think i was 8 years old at the time, and we had a lot of fun together, that was until..

"Hey.. I dont think we should go to the forest right now, i dont know why, but.. I just know, that we shouldn't go" - Random Person (Child)

"Ehh? What are you saying, are you scared now..? Come on, we've explored the forest everyday for a long time, and we haven't met a single monster or other dangerous animal" - R.P Friend A

"Yeaahh, what's gotten onto you, saying that creepy stuff.." - R.P Friend B

"I- I dont know, my chest suddenly felt heavy, like its telling me to not go to the forest today.. We can just play tomorrow.." - Random Person (Child)

"Boooo! You're scared!.. You can leave if you want, but we wont play with you anymore!" - R.P Friend C

I ran away from my friends, leaving them at the entrance of the forest. I went back to the village to tell everyone about it, and they immediately went on search, i hoped that they will stay at the entrance and didnt go any further, but unfortunately, when the people from the village came, they're already gone.. They searched the forest until the sun went down and night time approaches, but they still haven't found them.

Everyone decided to search separately, and a few hours later, a scream can be heard, the sound is a little far, but the people from the village quickly goes towards the sound, and what they saw was.. A Human Skeleton, 3 at that, it was found by one of the people that went on a separate way, and from the looks of it, it is undeniably the skeleton of the missing kids.

They must've met a dangerous animal or monster, got caught and eaten while still alive. What an unfortunate souls.

From that moment on, everytime a disaster would strike in a certain area, i will always have an uneasy feeling inside my chest about that area.

Im 17 Years old now, and i left the village to apply as a soldier in a kingdom called Hudwon, i started to learn swordsmanship at the age of 8, right after i heard the death of my friends, i made a promise to myself to work hard so that i could protect everyone around me when theres danger, i wont let those that are precious to me to die in vain, the other reason why i want to be a soldier is because of the wage, its not much, but enough to live a steady life without any problems, and i heard that kingdom is quite prosperous, so i kinda excited to see what it looks like.

10 Years passed in the blink of an eye, and im bored, im now married to a woman and we have 2 kids, they both still haven't grown up, but i really hope they will be a brave man in the future.

In my time as a soldier, i didnt do anything except guiding strangers or catch a few thieves, after doing it for a few years, it started to get boring, atleast for me.. I want something more daring and fun, for example.. Like a war maybe?

- Next Day -

I jinxed it again.. The king's 1st son Cale, is dead, but how!? Who is brave enough to kill the son of this kingdom.. After i looked at the wanted poster, i was quote shocked to see the culprit is a girl, a beautiful one at that.. Apparently the reason why the kingdom managed to know the culprit is because of the Artifact Device that cale always brought with him, the artifact works like a projector that can record the exact moment it captured and they managed to retrieve it from his corpse. I dont know what they saw with the artifact, but i guess its good to see that the culprit has been found.

I heard a scream in the distance, saying that the girl on the poster is currently at the city. What!? Why is she suddenly appeared in here? If she were a spy from another kingdom, then she would've gone back to her kingdom as soon as she completes her mission.

Something isn't right.

Maybe she had a new mission?.

I shouldn't think about negative things, surely she wont be able to escape the authorities right?.

She just turned herself in, What? What is going on here.. Im feeling more uneasy, well.. I guess that made our job a lot easier?

But i cant keep ignoring this feeling in my chest, everytime i look at her, this uneasy feeling became stronger, her eyes looked as if it was filled with bloodlust, and her scythe that she carries on her back keeps getting me chills down my spine, is it telling me to.. Get away from this girl, no.. From this kingdom?.

The commander said that her abilities should be on par to that of an A Rank Adventurer, but i really doubt it, did the kingdom really saw the footage?, because this is my first time my heart beating this fast.. It feels as if im facing Death itself.

Im sorry but.. I trust my guts more than the kingdom, so i left the army and quickly went to my house told my wife about some excuses to leave this kingdom, and quickly throw our belongings in our luggages.

We left the kingdom next day, and bought a ride to a small village using carriage, it took about 2 days to arrive at our destination, after we arrived, we slept in a nearby inn before going to the head village, my wife initially asked why we decided to move here, i tell her..

She didnt quite understand what i meant by that, but i dont care.. All i care is that my wife and kids are safe, after talking about it with the head of the village, we were allowed to live here, the head village told me that they have an empty house and is willing to sold it to me at a low price.

The Next Day after we started to live in this village, we received a shocking news.. Hudwon is no longer exist, the kingdom went disappeared overnight, theres not even a trace of battle or anything, all that's left is just a grassland that filled the place that was previously a prosperous human civilization.

I immediately felt happy because i chose the correct decision this time and saved my precious family, but it wasn't all that happy for my wife.. Her mother and father is still at hudwon, and she must be devastated to hear that they're now gone.

I got quite curious as to who is capable of such destruction, and after a i heard a little bit more, an eye witness that was wandering outside the kingdom said that he saw Demon Lord Vortas in the sky, and he can be seen struggling in a fight against someone, he didnt really see the person Vortas was fighting against, as it is too fast for a human eye to capture, all they see is just a flashing light and a blurry humanoid figure.

I was left speechless at the information that i just heard, Demon Lord Vortas? That Vampire King who is said to be the #2 strongest Demon Lords? and he was struggling in a fight?.. The only person that could make him struggle are probably Powerful Ancient Creatures or his rival, also known as the Strongest Demon Lord.

Then i remembered something..

"Yes, he was killed a few days ago, i cant sense his mana anymore." - ???

"But this is strange, who in the world is capable of killing him, hes the second strongest and have a lot of battle experience." - ???

"Did an Ancient Creature killed him?" - ???

"That might be the case, but there aren't a lot of Ancient Creatures who have that kind of power.. I can even count them with just one hand." - ???

"Hmm.. For now, i'll check the scene, before his death, i remember he was about to go to a human kingdom named Hudwon, maybe we can find some clues." - ???

"What about the person that you said to have an absurd amount of mana?" - ???

"That Bozlur's Dungeon incident?, i might check on that too, it could possibly be connected to Vortas's death." - ???

"Do you have anything else to say?" - ???

"No." - ???

"Then i'll end it here, goodbye." - ???
