- Holy Kingdom, a Few Days Later -

The Saintess and Everyone are currently working extremely hard to get rid of the Demonic Cult worshipper from their kingdom, but no matter what tactics or plan they use, they seems unable to catch every single Demonic Cult worshipper as another one keeps appearing right after another. They tried to follow them to their base, but they kept getting lost while pursuing them, as if there was an illusion or barrier that is preventing them to follow the Demonic Cult Worshipper.

"Agghhh!! How is this possible!! We've tried every method there is, and we still couldn't find their base.." - Saintess

The saintess flipped the church table in anger to the situation they're currently facing.

This cycle keeps happening for a while until they finally managed to get a clue about where the Demonic Cult base could be.

But it was too late.

*BOOMM!!*

The Demonic Cult worshippers suddenly came in a big group, they barged inside the kingdom publicly and starts to cast dark magic that activates an explosion in one of the magic circles that have been embedded in various area inside the kingdom, everyone could see them causing chaos everywhere, all of the citizen immediately run away as they saw houses, people, and other things got burned by the explosion.

"WH- WHAT IS HAPPENING.. QUICK! WE NEED TO STOP THEM!" - Saintess

The Saintess ordered all of her soldiers and Holy Knights to cease the fire and kill every cult worshippers that they see, a fierce battle ensued, and the Holy Kingdom was engulfed in a fire and bloody battlefield.

The battle lasts for an entire day before the people from both side got tired and decided to retreat for a while.

The Saintess that watched from afar helped them by healing their injuries and also giving them a blessing that improves their strength, while they were healing and resting, they saw the Cult Woshippers coming back from their hiding, it hasn't even been a day, how can they gather their stamina back so quickly..

While the surrounding is covered in fire, a shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere and began walking to where the saintess is located.

The Saintess who haven't realized this are currently having a meeting with the Holy Kingdom's King, they talked to each other on how to solve this crisis and eventually decided to help each other.

The King began searching for outside help while also sending his best soldiers, along with the Heroes.

*SPUUURRRTT*

"Theres no End to this!" - Kain

Kain can be seen fighting with a lot of the Cult Worshipper, and at first, he can defeat them quite easily, but now that the battle has been dragged for too long, and also the short rest that barely recover his stamina, its no surprise that Kain quickly lost his stamina again after just a few minutes of fighting.

While Kain is struggling, Dereq suddenly comes to the rescue, and defeated all of the surrounding Cult Worshippers.

"Are you okay?" - Dereq

"Y- Yeah.. Thank You" - Kain

They both then worked together to defeat the remaining enemies, and after most of the Cult Worshipper in their area has been taken care of, they quickly run towards the Saintess Location.

On their way to the location, they saw a lot of the Kingdom Soldiers and Holy Knights fighting against the enemy, and when they almost arrived at the location, they were stopped by the mysterious shadowy figure, the figure blocked their way to the Saintess, and it seems like the figure wont let them get past through.

"You're Different.." - Kain

"I smell some powerful aura from him.. He must be the leader of the cult." - Dereq

They all stood still for a few seconds, analysing each other and thinking about who will make the first move.

"Well well well.. Aren't you guys a hero? Really Interesting." - ???

The figure then let out a smile before it revealed itself as Vindein, he smiled at Kain and Dereq and began walking slowly towards them.

Dereq and Kain immediately went into position and ready to lunge their swords at him.

Vindein then stopped midway and stares at them both, his stares gave Kain and Dereq some chills and its as if his stare is suffocating.

*WHOOSH*

Kain and Dereq simultaneously dashed together towards Vindein, and they swing their swords, trying to slash him into pieces.

But they quickly got surprised as their attacks went through his body like air, Vindein's Body looks like a fog to them, no matter how many times they slash, it will always go through his body and didnt cause any damage to him.

"Kekeke.. Are you surprised? Of course you are.. Because now, its my Turn" - Vindein

He suddenly dashed towards Kain and Dereq with inhuman speed, barely giving them any time to react, they managed to parry his attack, but Vindein immediately launched another attack soon, and this continues for a while.

Kain and Dereq keep blocking his attack and occassionally trying to attack him, which obviously did not work.

They decided to split up and use magic instead of physical attack, at first they tried to use Holy Magic and attack him in both sides.

"[Light Laser]!" - Kain, Dereq

Vindein managed to dodge the attack, but one of the laser grazed him and it deals some actual damage to him, the part that got hit by the light turned into a bright particles that disappear moments after.

Seeing this, Vindein knew that he must avoid the light, so he began to add some more speed in his movement, making him more difficult to be hit by any magic.

Vindein tried to attack Kain but it was interrupted by Dereq who uses his magic to shoot at the direction of Kain, they knew that he will try to attack one of them, so they devised a plan by shooting at the direction of eachother when he tried to do it.

Now that Vindein has tried to attack one of them, Kain suddenly casts a light barrier around him, the barrier isn't that big, but its enough to hold more than 2 people in it, and since Vindein and Kain were close to each other at that time, Vindein also got trapped by the barrier.

If he tried to escape, the barrier will shred him into nothing and kills him.

But if he stays inside, he will be attacked by both Kain and Dereq, and since his movement are now restricted, he has become an easy target.

*BOOOOMM!*

A few moments later, the two heroes finally defeated Vindein, and he can be seen laying on the ground, with his both hands and legs were cutoff and he can no longer move anywhere.

The mana require to put him in this state are more than they had expected, and since they have already used most of their mana to fight the Cult Worshippers, it was a hard time for them to defeat Vindein.

"Kughh.. So this is it huh.. I've done my job." - Vindein

"Why are you doing this..." - Kain

"You wont believe me even if i tell you.." - Vindein

"Hey, You're the leader right? Are you sure you're just gonna die like that? I thought you will summon the God that you worshipped as a last resort.." - Dereq

"Hahaha.. I would've done that to be honest.. If it wasn't for her." - Vindein

"Her? Who is she? are you telling me that there are still someone that is above you?" - Kain

"You will know.. Soon" - Vindein

Kain and Dereq was shocked at his word, is there another person that is stronger than him? Just who is it.

They tried to make him talk by slowly torturing him, but they ended up killing him after he didnt say a single word.

They ponder for a while, thinking about a lot of things, it seems like there are more questions raised than answers.

They eventually continued their way to the Saintess and tell them the entire story.

"So the actual culprit is still not found.." - Saintess

"Yes.. We are sorry." - Kain

"Its okay.. Nice work, you both should rest." - Saintess

The battle continued for some more before finally coming to an end after a grueling 5 days of hellish nightmare, the Holy Kingdom comes out victorious.

They managed to drove the Cult Worshipper out of the kingdom and deactivated all of the magic circle that was embedded across the kingdom, after a few days the Holy Kingdom brought the Citizens that Evacuated back to their home, the kingdom spent a lot of money to reconstruct and fix all of the broken buildings and problems that were caused by the war.
