In this era, mana makes the individual. Without it that individual is seen as a "muggle" to the world-- a non magic user. Though muggles have been around for centuries it is a rare occasion to be or even meet one. But the same can't be said for our character, Luther Everbleed.
First son of the Royal Family, Luther was born into nobility with high expectations at birth. Of course it's to be expected being the son of not only one of the strongest Warlock, Draegen Everbleed (Luther's father) in history but also the reigning Supreme, Elizabeth Everbleed (Luther's mother). However, instead of giving birth to a potential prodigy they gave birth to something unexpected.
Unfortunately, Luther was born a muggle-- individuals who are deemed as an outlaw to society. If word of the most prestigious family giving birth to a muggle were to spread it would ruin both their reputation and dignity-- that was Luther's father first thought. But on the other hand his mother had other plans. This resulted in Luther's parents engaging in a heated argument. While his father desired to abandon him, his mother, the more gentle and loving of the two, wanted to keep him. Irritated by his wife's decision and disregarding her position, Luther's father decided to exile them both from the Royal Family. The mother wanted to retaliate but no one would dare go against the King's Order.
Realizing how pointless it was to persuade her prideful, hard-headed husband, Elizabeth ultimately disbanded her ties with the family before fleeing into the shadows with her son never to be seen again. Though there were a few attempts made by Draegen to track them, they all led to a deadend. And that was it, the last to be heard of Elizabeth and her son. As for their whereabouts, it's still unknown.
EXIT. CITY OF BELGADIA , 25 years later
In the middle of the Tenarian dessert where temperature rises nearly above boiling point a single man adjourned a journey under the starry night. Traveling by camel he reached the large medieval gates of the walled city, Belgadia.
Two guards stood by the gates and on the highest tower above them another two peered down. The guards thought to themselves how a man dressed in such thin clothing made it through the scorching desert, a task that has been proven difficult to even the greatest mages.. Suspicious of the intruder, the guards below crossed their spears impeding the man's path.
(The guard questioned the man) who are you and how did you get here? The man opened his eyes and the guards knew his name. They were all too familiar with the story "The man with blood-red eyes" , a warlock with no name dubbed The Devourer of Cities and he came to devour theirs.
Immobilized by fear the guards shook at their knees, causing them to be too scared to sound the alarm. This was their first and last mistake that led to the city's demolition. With no warning of danger, civilization within the walls had no time to react and succumbed to the inevitable. Trapped inside his powerful, magical barrier the man wreaks havoc on the city– draining individuals of their mana. Including the notorious and infamous Lord Duke Derringer, who ruled over the city. To the man with blood-red eyes, no stone went unturned, he walked a path of destruction and the city of Belgadia had become another one of its victims.
Continuing his journey heading northeast, Blood-eyes would eventually end up in Zoasos, his target— Ethan Dick, a ruthless authoritarian who abused his power into subjecting the people of their freedom and free will. His last words were,
"Please, no more...no more. I deserve whatever faith-"
Blood-eyes intervened mid-statement.
"Verschwinden." A second after this phrase, he stuck out two fingers in the form of a gun and pointed them at Ethan, immediately three puncture wounds appeared on Ethan— one to the heart, two to the head. As Ethan's body spasm, 'blood-eyes' he couldn't help to think.
But it didn't end there, Blood-eyes would eventually move on to destroying three more cities.
In Kredena, he corned disputable
Viscount Victor Sanchez where he gauged out his eyes, fed it to him alive, before tossing his dismembered torso to the Waraith Pigs. His next hit was in Silcrow city, Blood-eyes stormed Viscount Glappolis villa, firing too-fast-for-the-eyes projectiles destroying more than half the city. When Glappolis made an attempt to escape he was immediately impeded. Blood-eyes maliciously shattered Glappolis spine before cutting out his tongue to "shut him up" as he would rephrase it. But nobody suffered a more cruel and vile death than Count Zenon. It's unsure as to what happened but Count Zenon was found in a state unrecognizable. His body was folded, folded into a ball. Blood-eyes treated this victim of the highest degree, he must've had a master expertise in human anatomy with the precise cuts found on Count Zenon. A cut at every possible joint made it very clear as to how Zenon wound up in such a position, leaving his city to burn in ruins.
EXT. DURANDAL CITY, Royal Palace
The King's chief in charge of all personal matters, laid out the written paperwork before the King in presence of his audience. King Everbleed refrained from acting out because the situation was greatly important.
His chief, couldn't help but add, "May he remind thee that all three cities are heavily guarded and the simple fact that one man did all this...is nerve racking."
The council all sat back to discuss the matter at hand. The King especially, remained extremely quiet as the council argued.
"One man, three cities. Isn't it truly remarkable? Not to rephrase or anything, but all three cities were in fact heavily guarded. High ranking warlords, wizards, sword-casters, knights...you name it. And yet, what bothers me is that the few individuals I know of, whose power's could rival countries are within my jurisdiction. So my biggest question is, who has that sort of power in my domain?"
— The King to himself.
"Enough!"
A single word from King Everbleed silenced the room. He took at look at his Cheif Advisor and commenced to say 'so who do we have?' Before the advisor could pick the top prospects, many councils members spoke up with a suggestion of their own. Some recommended Micheal, Lord of Trade, while others tend to mention people such as Joseph, Curator of Steel, and The Black Demise. But there was someone very specific that the advisor have in mind— he piqued the King's interest.
The Inhaler of History, Khel Vichba. No one expected the name to escape the advisor's mouth. He was speaking like a madman.
"Khel Vichba, well-known renown Prince. Massacred his entire bloodline at the age of 15 before becoming the youngest in history to take the throne. Furthermore, making him one of the Seven Immortal Kings. I see no reason he couldn't get the job done."
— The Chief to King Everbleed
With this, 'that settles it' the King gave the order to make contact with Khel, declaring at the end of his statement, "A bug is in the system. I don't like bugs, get rid of em”.
