CHAPTER 11:THE BEGINNING

"By the way, can you turn into your wolf form?." Rene has told Rius that he was a werewolf. So he was curious as to how a human with two legs and two hands would shift into an animal.

Rene shook his head coldly.

BOOM!

"!!" Rius, who was looking at him with anticipation was shocked by how fast the transformation happened. Just a second was all it took for Rene to transform into his wolf form. A majestic white wolf stood before him, his animistic red eyes glowing with a noble aura. The white fur of the wolf looked so soft and silky.

Subconsciously Rius stretched his hand to touch it. The wolf moved closer to let him touch his fur.

~So soft~

Rius nuzzled his cheeks against the white fur that felt soft like clouds. The touch was so tender and transparent that it felt surreal. Even the size of the white wolf was bigger than the normal wolves he has seen back on earth. Rene felt more like a giant Dire wolf pup than a werewolf pup. Surely, the size difference was huge. Rius looked like a dwarf in front of Rene right now.

"....." Rene let his new friend indulge in his fur for a while.

Thankfully Rius snapped out of it real quick after satisfying himself to his heart's content. Before he took him back with him Rius asked him to make himself smaller.

Rene did as he was told, shrinking his size. But to Rius, that size was still the equal of a normal wolf, which was a bit big. In order to elicit sympathy from his family members, Rene must have a pitiful appearance. The more pitiful the better it was. His family was extremely weak to animals.

The result was that he had to shrink himself to the size of a normal puppy. He had white fur and red eyes. With such an adorable appearance Rius was fully satisfied. He even squealed "CUTE" at Rene's adorable appearance.

On their way back Rius was holding Rene in his arms, carrying him like a little puppy While the other laid obediently in his arms. He was calm and collected until he saw an island made of gold before him. His ears twitched vigorously, alerted by the starge atrifact like buildings located on the island. Strange carriage like things hung on a huge steering wheel. Strange? Rene looked up at Rius, his eyes clearly showing confusion.

Pat. Pat.

"Don't worry. You will get to ride them very soon."

Rius's hand petting him felt so tender and warm.

"Aoow" His animal voice squealed quietly.

"Rius, who is that?"

In an instant a group of five people appeared before them. They all possessed the legendary rainbow eyes and rainbow hair of the Mystique race. Three boys and two adults. Their piercing eyes landed on the white puppy in Rius's arms.

Rene, on the other side observed them carefully. His red eyes looked back at the Mystique family.

What the others saw was a red eyed puppy staring wide eyed at them, his adorable pink tongue sticking out of his mouth as his eyes blinked once. Then twice. As his pupils became bigger.

Everyone squealed the same thing at the same time in their heart. A white fur ball with ruby like eyes staring back at them, how can they not find it cute.

That aside, the family could tell that this wasn't your average puppy. But a werewolf in a shrunken size. In other words, an Outsider.

Cough. Cough. "Rius, where did you find this puppy?" Rimilia couldn't take her eyes off the white furball. Even though she looked calm she was troubled by the sudden appearance of a werewolf pup in their home.

Rius, who knew how to play his cards immediately stepped up. With sparkling eyes, he told them the very truth.

When Rimilia and Rasheed heard the entire story from their son, the expression on their faces changed. Their eyes became softer when they looked at Rene again.

"..." Rene was speechless after witnessing Rius sway his family's heart so blatantly.

It was as if he had put some kind of spell on them to make them agree on everything he wanted.

"Mommyyyyyy, can he live here? Can he?"

Making a face that was hard to refuse, he begged in the cutest voice he could make, his round cheeks tinted with baby blush, and sparkles blooming in his rainbow eyes.

"Can we?"

They were oblivious to this face. This face Rius would make whenever he wanted things his way.

Rasheed and Rimilia looked at each other. Then they looked back and forth between their begging son who was selling cuteness right now and the werewolf pup.

For such a young child to jump into the abyss to kill himself, and being abandoned by his pack, this child was out casted by his own pack.

"~Mommy. Daddy~"

"..." Rius was being more persistent than usual.

"Sigh!!" The two husband and wife sighed at the same time.

"Listen Rius, he will be your responsibility from now on. And...." Rimilia hadn't even completed her sentence when she felt her son jump into her arms.

"Thank you mommy and daddy. You are the best! I love you so much!"

(* ^ *) Both of them could only shrug away their troubles after seeing their son smile like a blooming flower. The word "Happiness" were written in his lovely eyes.

"..." Rene found it hard to believe that he was accepted into the Mystique Race so easily.

Wasn't it a bit too easy???

His ears perked up when he saw Rius look back at him with a charming smile.

He didn't knew that the white furry tail behind him was wagging slightly, swaying left and right.

Meanwhile Risha, who could hear them from her cradle couldn't help but snort.

"Quaking all you want to yourselves while leaving me behind here." She grumbled to herself in silence.

Once she grows up she is going to escape from this place and run away.

In the blink of an eye Eleven years went by.

And the youngest daughter of the Mystique family remained true to her words, as she, had run away from home just as she had promised herself in the cradle that day.
