Huff Huff
"I huffed a heavy breath as my sword went deeper into the Demon God's chest. Underneath my feet, Krufus, the demon god, was looking at me with rage and madness in his eyes.
"You! Spare my life, human, or you will regret it!" Krufus opened his mouth as he coughed out a mouthful of blood.
"You enslave and kill people. My friends and companions are also among them, and you also wanted to take over this world, and you ask me to spare your life?"
"Those are but lowly fucking humans! You don't even belong in this world, why are you defending it? Fuck!"
Spat!
Krufus spat a large blob of blood, but I reacted fast and managed to deflect it with my sword. As expected of a demon, I shouldn't let my guard down near them, even for a second. I was about to kill him in anger when I heard someone call my name.
"Shin! Are you alright?" Behind me, a woman carrying a staff looked at me with worry in her eyes.
"I'm fine, Yaria. What about you?"
"I'm okay, Shin." Yaria smiled at me when she saw I was okay. When I heard Yaria's voice, I managed to keep my cool. I looked back at Krufus.
"It's time for you to pay for all the destruction and chaos you have caused." I aimed my sword towards the demon. Hearing this, Yaria also cast a spell and buffed me. I smirked, seeing my sword burst in white light.
"Curse you, human! You have no idea about the consequences of killing me!" Krufus' eyes widened in fear. His last struggles was to stand up but to no avail. I charged forward, my sword glowing with divine energy as I plunged it into Krufus' heart. The demon god let out a deafening scream before turning into dust and disappearing into the wind.
But as soon as the demon god's body dissipated, I felt a sudden jolt of pain. I stumbled backwards, dropping my sword as I clutched my chest. Yaria rushed to my side, her eyes wide with concern. "Shin, what's wrong?" "I don't know," I gasped, struggling to catch my breath.
"It feels like... something went inside me." Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head, and everything went black.
When I woke up, I was lying on the ground, with Yaria kneeling beside me. "Shin, are you okay?" I sat up slowly, rubbing my head. "I think so. What happened?" "I don't know," Yaria said, her brow furrowed with worry.
"After you killed the demon, you passed out." I gritted my teeth. "That bastard. What did he do to me?" Yaria worriedly said. "I don't know. But it doesn't seem to be showing any effect as of now."
I quickly looked at my status window. Fighting the demon god was exhausting, my mana is almost depleted. Seeing my hp in green, Yaria probably made me drink potions after I pass out. After looking through my status window, I finally saw the cause of my concern. In the negative buffs section, I saw a word [Cursed by the God of Lust] was written.
My heart sank at the sight of the curse. I knew that curses from gods were not to be taken lightly. Yaria noticed my expression and asked, "What's wrong?" I hesitated for a moment before telling her about the curse. She gasped in shock.
"Curses from gods are powerful and can have serious consequences," Yaria said, her voice filled with concern. "We need to find a way to lift the curse." I nodded in agreement. "Let's go back to our hometown first. Maybe we can find some information there."
Yaria helped me up, and we started walking out the gate of the castle. Upon arriving outside, we caught sight of corpses of human soldiers and demons spread everywhere.
As we walked passed this terrible scenery, I couldn't help but feel guilty. I was the one who led my companions into this battle, and I couldn't protect them all. Only Yaria and me were the one left after Krubus appeared during the battle.
As we walked, Yaria noticed the weight of guilt and sorrow in my heart. Without a word, she took my hand and gently squeezed it, offering her silent support.
I looked at her, and our eyes met, and in that moment, I knew that I wasn't alone. Yaria was there for me, and I was there for her. We were both survivors of the battle, and we needed each other to move on.
As we walked, our hands intertwined, Yaria started to console me. "Shin, you did everything you could. You led us into battle, and we fought with all our might. Sometimes, things don't go as planned, and that's not your fault."
I looked at her, and a feeling of warmth spread through me. I knew she was right, but hearing it from her made it easier to accept.
"Thank you, Yaria," I said, grateful for her kind words.
She smiled at me and leaned in, planting a gentle kiss on my lips. It was a sweet and tender moment, and for a brief moment, I forgot about the curse and the war around us.
We broke the kiss, and Yaria looked at me, her eyes filled with love and concern. "We'll find a way to lift the curse, Shin. We'll do it together."
Suddenly, a dark mist raised from Shin body and entered Yuria's body through her mouth. But they were not able to notice it.
Me and Yaria made our way towards the western border of Molgia, knowing that we had to cross it to reach Iraija, the land of humans. We walked for hours, passing through rugged terrain and dense forests, trying our best to avoid any demons beasts that might be lurking around.
There weren't any human settlements in the Molgia continent since it's a demon's land.
After half a day passed, we're almost near at the border but it's almost dusk so we chose to rest for the night.
As we settled down for the night, I couldn't help but look at Yaria. She was sitting beside me, roasting some meat over the campfire, lost in thought. The flickering flames danced across her face, highlighting her beauty.
Her skin was fair, almost ethereal, and her body was curvy and sexy. Her long black hair cascaded down her back. She wore a skin tight red robe that hugged her figure perfectly, and in front are two large ample of mounds that would easily attract attention. In her hand, she held a wooden cane that she used to help her walk, but also to channel her magic.
I felt very lucky to have her as my girlfriend. Yaria was not just beautiful, but also kind, brave, and intelligent. We do not have that much difference in height, so it was easy to talk to her.
Yaria and I have been together for as long as I can remember, even before we're in earth. That's right, we originally came from earth but due to unknown reasons we got transported into this world 3 years ago. We fought and got stronger together. Along the way, we met and made friends with a lot of people.
Yaria had helped me in so many ways, and I knew that I wouldn't have made it this far without her.
"Hey," I said, breaking the silence. "What are you thinking about?"
Yaria looked up at me, and I could see the concern in her eyes. "I'm thinking about the curse, Shin. We need to find a way to lift it as soon as possible."
I nodded in agreement. "I know. But for now, let's rest. We'll figure things out tomorrow."
Yaria smiled at me, and I felt a sense of comfort wash over me. We finished our meal in silence, listening to the sound of the insects and the crackling of the fire. As we laid down to rest, I held Yaria close to me, feeling grateful for the warmth of her.
