Nikami POV

"..." I sat there in the bench of the back of my mansion, I stared at the woods blankly.

[Ever since I was blessed...last year... I felt... More cold than usual... I rarely smile anymore... Even if I'm around the three of them... I usually become cold to people I only just met... Or to the people I hate.... What's happening to me..? I feel.... So... Empty...] I was just staring blankly at trees in front of me... While Emica stood at the side of me.

"Hey, Nika..." I heard my 'Father' say behind me

And I turned around to see 'Father' and Mother looking concerned.

"Yes, Father?" I titled my head.

"So uhm... We need to talk to you..." 'Father' scratched the back of her neck.

"Emica can you leave us?" Mother asked Emica.

"Yes, Master." Emica bowed down and walked away.

[I wonder what this is about...? Oh well... I don't care...] I thought while staring at them blankly, and goes to look back at the woods.

"So... Nika..." 'Father' Sat at the right side of me, while Mother sat down at the left side of me.

"..." I got back staring at the trees while I listen to 'Father'

"So... Us Shiromoru's are blessed with wonderful Ice powers.... But... All great things come with a price..." 'Father' sighed and Mother was just beside me... Looking very nervous.

"What do you mean by that father..?" I looked at her.

"It's just.... I know you have been slowly becoming cold these years... And I... I have to tell you that... It's going to be fine... Its normal for us Shiromoru's to be like this...." 'Father' sighed.

"Yes... your father was cold when I first met her too... but do you know why she's like this now? It is because of me! I slowly melted her frozen heart... And her cold personality... And her emotions came back, but of course, she'll only show it to me! So that's why...you'll find someone that will melt your heart too!" Mother encouraged me.

[Someone that will melt my frozen heart.... I hope there would be someone like that...] I thought silently hoping.

"I see... Thank you, mother, father." I nodded to both of them.

"It's only natural..." Mother smiled.

"Indeed." 'Father' agreed.

Emica walked up to us and bowed down.

"Forgive me for interrupting but Prince Raijin has arrived..." Emica said, still bowed down

"Ah very well... I'll leave you here Nika." Mother smiled at me.

"Have fun." 'Father' said as she took Mother's hand and walked towards our mansion.

Raijin was running towards me with a bright smile on her face, waving to me. Emica goes back standing at the side of the bench.

"Nika!!" She sat next to me and smiles

"Hello Rai." I said.

"Is Shu coming soon?" She asked me.

"I don't know..." I sighed a bit.

"awww... Man... I want to see her already! We're going to have so much fun today!" Raijin excitedly yelled.

Meanwhile, I just sighed.

"Huh? Why are you sighing?" She tilted her head.

"You are asking such useless questions. Why would you just sit there and shut up, rather than running your mouth like a child wanting attention." I spat, glaring at her.

"Hah?! Who the hell do you think you are!? I was just asking you!!! And you're over here suddenly bitching about it!!" Raijin yelled at me, her brows going slated because of anger.

"I just want you to be a bit silent. I wasn't so-called bitching about it. Here you are again, yelling like an uncultured person. Aren't you supposed to be the prince?" I countered her, looking away sighing again.

"I am the prince!! Sometimes you need to yell so the other person can get your point!! I am not uncultured! Who the hell do you think you are?!" Raijin yelled at me again, glaring at the same time.

I just sighed again.

"I can't believe someone like you have to rule over the kingdom... Now I know why I'm engaged to you because they need a babysitter of a worthless prince, who just wants to play all day." I rolled my eyes.

"Hah?! Worthless prince?!! HOW DARE YOU!!! I'LL BEAT YOU UP EVEN IF you're MY BEST FRIEND!!!!" Raijin growled at me her fists burning up in flames, and was ready punch me...

"Be... Best friend..." The fire in her fists burned out...

[I... What... What was I thinking...? I insulted Raijin... Sh... She was... She was just trying to be friendly... I.. I don't know what came over me...] I thought while tears fell down my face, looking blank but then noticed my sadness.

"Ra... Rai, I'm sorry.... I.. I don't know what came over me..." I said crying, trying to wipe the tears off my face.

"I-i'm sorry too!! I don't know what happened! I just felt so much anger! I'm not usually like this! I just... Felt so hot-headed..." Raijin then hugged me.

"I.. I'm sorry..." I hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry princess... Yo-you know... I think... I think that this is... The work of this world.."  She whispered to me while hugging me.

"Huh? What... What do you mean...?" I asked her confusingly.

"Th-This is the world's way of... Making us into our game-selfs... You are supposed to be... The cold one... And I'm supposed to be... The hot-headed one... I-I noticed that I became angrier every day... I also... Started to... Think you as... Annoying... N-no offense of course! I mean... Nikami and Raijin in the game... Kinda hated each other.." She sighed and whispered to me.

"O...oh... Then... Why are they engaged...?" I asked.

"They just wanted the kingdom to be successful... So they had to work together... They had to marry each other...Even if... There was no love involved..." Raijin whispered to me.

"I... I see... I don't want to become our game-selfs... I.. I.. I want to be the same... I don't want to hate you..." I cried even more hugging Raijin tighter.

"W-we can only hope... Princess..." She pats the back of my head.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but Shukona-sama is here..." Emica bowed down.
