He's a bipolar

ALEX POV

I drifted off into thought. Kent was still asleep when I left the room. The house was eerily quiet. I kept calling for Yaya but there was no answer. I went to the kitchen and saw Ken preparing the table.

"Good morning!" Ken greeted cheerfully. I was surprised by his high spirits. I didn't pay much attention and decided it was best to forget about what happened yesterday.

"Have a seat," he said, pulling out a chair next to me. I just watched him silently. Perhaps he noticed my confusion.

"Look, I just want to make up for what I did yesterday, Alex. Please don't get me wrong," he said, turning around to get the food. I remained quiet, observing him.

"Where's Yaya?" I asked softly.

"Oh! I gave Yaya a leave—" he didn't finish his sentence.

"What?" I exclaimed. "I have a meeting with a client at 10 AM. Who will stay here at home?" I asked.
